We ordered this waffle iron obviously bsed on its low price point. The first one we received was defective. We were given a replacement free of charge and so far the new one has worked very well. My only complaint would be that the timer is pretty much non-existent for the commercial kitchen. MY biggest irritation was that they required me to take pictures and video of a product that I wanted replaced..seems like that would be your job not mine. I am the customer so I do not feel I should need to do that...but all in all we are happy with the machine and how it functions.
Daniel S. from Ramada Plaza Hotel & Convention Center Posted on 07/05/2016
I just had my second Carnival King Waffle Maker fail in less than 1 year. We are a small sandwich shop and only make around 2-3 waffles per day on a weekly average and this machine could not hold up to that light load. I received a replacement unit after 6 months when the first one stopped working and hoped it was an anomaly but it wasn't. So, here we are almost one year in business and looking for our third waffle maker. Our warranty is up so rest assured that I won't be buying another one of these...
Bart G. from Zobo & Meester's Posted on 07/19/2016
heavy duty and makes really tasty waffles. loved by my customers and many orders received for more.. will definitly buy another one if needed in the future

Very unhappy with the Carnival King WBM13. The timer is not loud enough for a commercial kitchen. I've had 3 of them and they all are not very reliable. When they work, they work great. It often struggles to maintain consistent temp. I purchased them because they had replaceable plates, Not worth the price.
Andrew L. Posted on 02/15/2016
This waffle maker works great for it’s listed price! It makes the perfect waffle and it’s very easy to use and clean! Works well with our limited space.

Carnival King WBM13 Non-Stick Belgian Waffle Maker with Timer - 120V I love this waffle maker. The waffles come out amazing and fluffy. I highly recommend this waffle maker.
Abby M. from Abbys coffee Posted on 11/27/2017
A well made easy to use maker for the price. We have two and use them on a daily basis in or cafe and they have performed as expected. We make 20-30 waffles a day and they keep up with our demands.
Jeremy S. from Book Club Cafe Posted on 10/16/2017
this non stick Belgian waffle maker makes thick waffles. it also has a built in timer which is great when you need to multitask. we use it in our bed and breakfast continental breakfast buffet.
Jonah F. from Freedman's Posted on 08/30/2017
This waffle maker makes the most beautiful waffles, thick and cooked perfect throughout....for about a month. Then everything starts sticking, and the machine breaks down at about six months. We use the machine for 4 hours daily, then turn it off. Should last longer than it does. I have gone through 3 of these in about a year, so switched to a heavier duty iron. Great waffles, just wish the machine was more durable!
Shaun M. Posted on 05/05/2017
You need to partner this with the pancake and waffle mix on the consumables portion of this website. Follow the instruction to a tee and you have the absolute best tasting waffles I have ever had in my entire life. Unit is large and heavy but well worth it!

Sharon T. from pashays Posted on 01/17/2017
this is a great waffle maker, and the price is right on!. The ONLY problem, and it is a big one: it simply doesnt last. No matter how well we take care of it, after less than a year we are getting a new one
Howard L. from emma's bagel cafe Posted on 06/08/2016
GREAT PRODUCT, I USED TO PURCHASE SIMILAR PRODUCT FOR WAFFLES HOWEVER NONE COMPARE TO THIS ONE MORE EFFICIENT AND SPECIALY PLATES CAN BE CHANGED WILL SAVE ME A LOT ON LONG RUN.

We have had this waffle iron for 4 months. Was working great then the top heating element started going bad. This made the wiring over heat and melt. I contacted web restaurant and they handled it by saying it was under warranty and promptly sent me a replacement. Thank you for your wonderful service. Darci

We are a new business and needed a commercial waffle iron. After much research, I felt the Carnival King seemed to be the most well priced commercial iron. I have only used it once but the waffles turned out great and I am currently purchasing a second one! The only con I would say is the handle screws on and when you flip the iron while cooking, it is in the same direction that loosens the handle.
Nicole N. from The Serene Bean Espresso Catering Posted on 04/11/2016
Purchased the Carnival King waffle maker for my restaurant. Item was working great for the first eight weeks, and all of a sudden the iron would no longer heat up. Contacted webstaurant customer service and they took care of everything by sending a replacement, totally hassle free! I would have given 1 star for the product rating since it didn't last but decided on 4 stars because of customer service and the company standing behind their product.

The Waring WW180 single Belgian waffle iron is able to keep your ice cream parlor or breakfast bar fully stocked. With triple-coated non-stick plates, you’ll be able to remove your waffles without damaging the presentation. As an added bonus, this unit has embedded heating elements for more precise temperature control and faster heat up and recovery times, making it perfect for commercial settings.

This was my second Warning WW180 Single Belgian Waffle Iron. The first still works; however the coatings are long gone and the waffle maker is difficult to clean. This waffle maker was always hard to clean even when brand new. We use the suggested release agent; however over time the waffle maker develops a residue that turns to carbon. The timer worked for a while along with the light, but after a year or two these become problematic and the best approach became cooking by feel. We ordered the second WW180 as a low cost replacement. Waring redesigned the latching mechanism with a plastic pin that breaks rendering the unit inoperable. It is considered disposable so while it is covered by the warranty, it will be hard over the long term. We have Nemco and Star as our primary units and these serve as augmentation on the weekend. They're cheap prosumer and as long as you consider them disposable you might be fine.

When I was in college the dining room would have a table of these waffle makers, available for make-your-own, on every Sunday for brunch. A few years after graduation when I got married I asked for one as a wedding gift. We got this Waring model, and it has served us very well for years since. I do not understand the complaints about it being hard to clean because the waffles pop right off when done, and there is literally nothing there to clean. We just put the next cup of batter in and so on. We do make sure it is properly greased with butter between waffles, and we don't add fruits or anything to the batter, things that might cause a residue (we use fruits as toppings because everything tastes better that way). So we have not had a problem at all the way others have complained. This has been easy to use, and we have not had safety concerns as we keep fingers clear of hot parts. It beeps when done and it's always perfectly cooked. Not under-cooked, not over-cooked, just right each time. This definitely serves our purposes and has for many years.
Lindsay K. Posted on 02/12/2017
It is a nice little waffle machine and have not had to many issues with the waffles sticking. One of our machines after a couple months of having it with daily use stopped indicating when the waffles were done.
Justin W. Posted on 12/06/2016
So far so good. Over the past 3 years Waffle makers have given us more problems than any other piece of kitchen equipment. We were hesitant to spend the money on this waffle maker because in the past "commercial" waffle makers seemed to give us just as many problems as the home waring models. This waffle maker has been under fairly heavy use for 3-4 months and we have had absolutely zero issues. Were hoping that it lasts us for 2 years.
Dustin H. Posted on 04/01/2016
This iron is used daily and is an essential in our kitchen. It makes beautiful waffles every time. It is a wonderful product. Would recommend

Never again will I buy this waffle maker (WW180). We were highly dependent on this waffle maker. Lately, they are having issues one after another. Sure they will send a replacement but that will also fail within a month. We were having issues with plates burning too much. One of them came scratched plates. Now this replacement is acting up with top plate heating extremely hot burning and charring one side. Its total waste. I'm looking for other supplier. If anyone has a better one, please let us know. we make Liege waffles. Not the regular Belgian waffles with watery batter.
Premanand S. from Two Prime Posted on 08/31/2017
It makes beautiful waffles for about three or four months. Then the flaking begins. Every time we make a waffle now, there are black flakes from the coating all over the waffles! Not a good long-term product.
Mary C. from Cafe Crema Posted on 08/09/2017
It's hard to put a star rating on this product. It worked really well for the first few days but then the built-in timer got a life of it's own and started beeping at random times. It still makes a decent waffle but we have to time it ourselves. Also the plates are not removable so it's difficult to clean. Decent product if you're on a budget.
Shaun M. Posted on 06/01/2017
These things plug right in and get right to work. We got them for off site catering jobs and they work great. We actually seasoned and used them right out the box and the very first batch tasted just fine. They have held up well without waffles sticking, but our use has not been daily. They are easy to clean and transport, and so far we have not been on a job site where they have tripped a breaker due to power consumption. Use is easy, and temperature control is simple, the timer that is built in produces quality waffles over 90% of the time.

We bought this Belgian waffle iron to replace our small one we had. This is a great product, not too big and bulky but works like a sturdy commercial machine.

Ordered the suggested nonstick spray with it, and works wonderfully! Great product, great price! Ordered a microwave from this site, & going to order a reach n cooler. Good prices, helpful customer service. Definitely recommend Webstaurant Store!

Originally, I ordered the Waring WW250B double waffle maker. I didn't realize the plug was not a standard plug, so I sent it back and ordered the Waring WW180 single waffle maker. This belgian waffle maker is fast and efficient for my restaurant. The waffles come out perfectly with the measuring cup that comes with it. I wanted to get the Waring WW200 Double Belgian Waffle maker but they were out of stock and was told that this would be in stock at the end of June. I'll probably get that too because the belgian waffles have been a hit at my restaurant.

Got this for X-mas, Best present I have got in a long time. Dessert waffles are the Bomb, breakfast waffles killer too. Super heavy duty construction. The adjustable cook time lets you dial it in just the way you like it! Waffles cook up fast too!!
Anthony L. Posted on 02/07/2014
The best waffle maker out there. Important to season correctly with a spray that specifies it won't leave a build-up. Once its seasoned we never need to spray and it makes beautiful waffles.

After 3 consumer model waffle makers broke in 6 years.(1 of them a Waring model)I decided on a commercial waffle maker would be better for home use. This waffle maker is well built, easy to use. Makes golden brown waffles that fall right out of the waffle maker. For a mom & pop diner, bed & breakfast or a large family. Or in my case, the kids invite lots of friends over on the weekends, this waffle maker is worthy of consideration.

This model features a dual-sided design that gives it a smaller footprint, so it takes up very little space on your countertop. Your staff will also appreciate independent ready lights that ensure your waffles come out perfectly every time.

Well stamp my forehead "Idiot", the first one I purchased... yes the first one, I began to have problems with and because it only lasted to "Very" shortly after the warranty Waring and Webstaurant was like "Oh well sorry". Here's where the idiot part comes in, I liked the waffle iron so I tried it again and bought another Waring (Bad Choice). Shortly after warranty ended I started having problems, buzzer stopped working first, then started burning one side and barely cooked the other, I found my cooks had to shut it off to keep it from overheating. So here again I find myself looking to buy another waffle iron to replace the Waring. It diffidently will not be a Waring, I know that for sure, over 900 bucks down the drain. I say buyer beware on Waring !
Dennis M. from Mek's Place Posted on 04/15/2016
A very mixed review here.....on one hand, this waffle iron works well and had all the proper specifications we needed for our waffles....on the other hand, the non-stick coating didn't last very long and the heating elements started to cook unevenly only after a couple months where the irons were used for 5 days only in those couple months for 8 hours straight. Tried to email Waring but haven't got any reply. It may be a function of our special waffle batter that kills the nonstick coating as it is very sticky but I'd expect a "commercial" piece of equipment to perform more consistently than it has. Take this review with a grain of salt though because we produce a very specific product. I'm sure regular waffle batter would allow the machine to last longer but it hasn't worked out for the long term for us.
Winchell C. from Moffle Waffle Posted on 10/29/2014
It gets the job done, but heats a little unevenly, and the flip seems like a great idea but doesn't work too well in high volume.
Jason I. from Frostbite Ice Cream Posted on 05/23/2018
My overall impression is generally favorable. While we don't make more than 20 or 30 waffles in a week, cleaning has been a very real issue. For those that have indicated "easy to clean", would you share your technique please? I have heard that use of a soy based spray might help us. We currently use a sunflower oil based spray. Any helpful hints / advice is most welcome.

When it comes to Belgian Waffles, Waring definitely delivers. In under 3 minutes, you get a perfectly cooked waffle that's soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Delicious!
Nikki U. Posted on 02/07/2015
We have been using waring waffle irons of sorts for the past 2 years. We mostly have good things to say about them but the heating element in the upper portion has a tendency to go out if you are using them for 50 or so waffles over the course of each day. That being said, however, Waring has done a great job helping us through the issue and replacing them. Just keep it clean and you should not have any issues!
