Just a fair warning-- this thing may be bigger than you expect. It is quite large in person. The mesh is a good size for clarifying stocks and for making very smooth purees. Highly recommend.

I bought two! this strainer has a great feel to it, with a good sized handle and sturdy heavy construction. the Wire frame will help it stay balanced and the mesh is very fine

I use this to make stocks. Also can be used for straining yogurt to make Greek yogurt. It is heavy duty and strong. Strained an entire chicken through it after pressure cooking and held up well. Easy to wash too.

Big strainer. Work great for restaurant. Not recommended for personal use. Made with stainless steel. Solid and easy to clean. Perfect size for my restaurant.
Tanachai H. from Thai Express 2010 LLC Posted on 01/29/2017
Strain like a pro. Keeps the muck out. The end result is finer food, sauces and the excellence you strive for. Dont hesitate to pick one of these up.
Daniel F. from Bomb Tacos LLC Posted on 01/20/2017
Perfect size for home use. The fine mesh also is great at straining out small particles like tea. Also works well for home bartenders in straining fruit syrups.

This is the perfect size for small sizes of stocks and liquid. The mesh is really fine so it gets almost everything out resulting in smooth, clear results. The wires on the bottom are great for protecting the mesh also.

I use this exclusively for straining when I make veal Demi. It really strains the finest particles that even pass through a fine China cap and leaves the sauce silky smooth.

Very good quality Chinois Strainer. We use frequently to strain sauces and stocks. Chinois has a fine mesh to strain impurities. Good size and fits well with many different pots.

Needed a larger strainer for larger quantity products. Used this to make apple butter and to help strain the peels. Worked out great and helped make the best butter yet.

This is a great strainer! It is very well built and is holding up well to frequent use. I would definitely recommend this to others and I would purchase again.

Excellent strainer for my blueberry reduction, is very fine and help me a lot to keep the fruit away from the jar while am getting the pure blueberry liquid.

Very nice bouillon strainer. Well designed with good quality material. It does what it is meant to do without and issues. We highly recommend this product.
Ida M. Posted on 04/16/2016
This strainer is great. I can't believe the quality for the price. We've had it for a few weeks but have used it and washed it multiple times. I think it's going to hold up really well.

Just as good as the ones I can find at stores or elsewhere online but cheaper at Webstaurant! Cheaper is a good thing! Great service too! Heavier weight than the ones at the store and cheaper!!! A must for sauces and desserts!

They are a great strainer. We always called them china caps in cuilinery school. When you need to strain a very strong strainer this is the one.
Kristian K. from NY PIZZA PIE LLC. Posted on 02/15/2016
This is a good size strainer for most tasks. the long handle and hook allow it to be secured to most containers. we mainly use to strain the bits of cooked egg from our ice cream base, and it does a good job of getting even small particles out.
kenneth M. Posted on 12/11/2015
I use this chinois for straining stocks and sauces. One side has a handle and the other side has a hook. The hooked side is great for resting on pots or containers. It as not as fine as I had hoped it would be.
Evan B. from Jack & Alice LLC. Posted on 11/29/2015
I use this fine mesh bouillon/ strainer mainly for my soups that need to be finely strained. It helps keep the unwanted small bits of herbs or spices from getting into the soup.
Ariane S. Posted on 10/29/2015
Really useful strainer for when we do infusions of creams/milks for our desserts. Only gripe is that it's extremely hard to wash out the minuscule particles stuck in the fine mesh.
Anna N. from Honeybee Patisserie Posted on 10/26/2015
Awesome product for the price. We mainly use it to strain tea leaves. Our tea is important to us and to ensure the best look and taste (ridding of the leaves) we spent a tad more and go this strainer. You will not regret it.
Jamen M. from Miller Enterprise LLC Posted on 07/28/2015
Better than using expensive cheese cloth and more reliable than its more expensive brothers. Holds up to all the abuse in a fast paced kitchen.
Matthew P. Posted on 07/22/2015
Great size for a home chef. An indispensable tool for straining soups, stocks, custard bases, purees, and anything else where you want the final product to be super smooth.
Gordon L. Posted on 04/17/2015
This is a great product for it's price. I've spent more the double in similar items. It is pretty sturdy and well constructed. I has a metal protection around the mash that makes it stand alone, which is great if you are working on your own when making stock and straining pulp or passing sauces.
Daniel B. Posted on 04/01/2015
Great product. We use it for all sorts of things in the pastry kitchen, such as straining pastry cream and creme anglaise. Not too fine either, just right.
Tsegaw H. from kaldi's Coffeebar Posted on 11/03/2014
great bouillon strainer. I actually use it to strain my deep fryer as well as sauces as it catches all of the loose material. Perfect.
Christopher C. from Just Eat This Catering Posted on 09/07/2014

We like the strainer a lot, and use it to strain the jus and finished sauces and pureed soups to get them nice and smooth.
Damian S. from Piccolo Restaurant Posted on 03/31/2014
It's the perfect fit for my kitchen sink. Mesh size is great for straining meat and pasta. Also great for stocks, broths, and bisque. Very easy to clean. A must for the novice or seasoned chef.
antishia W. Posted on 01/30/2014
This strainer is a great value. It might not be fine enough for consomme, but works great for just about anything else you would need it for.
Lindsey T. Posted on 10/08/2013
The 8 inch bouillon strainer was a great price and heavy duty. Works great for straining all your stocks and soups. Easy to clean also.
Thomas B. Posted on 10/07/2013
This strainer is great! I use it to strain my homemade soy milk. The strainer is fine enough to remove most of the pulp which eliminates the use of cheesecloth. It saves me a lot of time.
Patricia W. Posted on 08/22/2013
these are great for skimming out soups and sauces like comsome. sometimes if your thickener clumps up you can strain out the clumps with this too
