Customer Reviews

It serves it's purpose. Though not really easy to clean, I do not find any strainer easy to clean. This one Is perfect. This is my every day used .

James Y. from Red Bowl Asian Bistro on 05/04/2022

This mesh strainer is large and the handle is very long. It is well built and reasonable priced. It fits over a mixing bowl very well for easy use.

Jonathan S. on 07/24/2021

We bought the fine tin single mesh strainer to drain blanched veggies, cooked noodles and cooked beans. It is very versatile and the price is lower than other stores.

June Z. from Nirvana Kitchen on 12/12/2020

Extremely large strainer. Make sure you measure before you purchase, I didn’t and it doesn’t really work for any of my mixing bowls. Sturdy but prone to rust if you don’t wash and dry properly after using.

Jessica H. on 06/19/2020

This is a sturdy strainer. We’ve used it for straining pasta to sifting flour. It has a long handle which makes it easy to grip.

Jaymee K. on 01/23/2020

These strainers have held up so well. They are very much worth the additional couple dollars, for the reinforcement. They have lasted 2x the length of time as the ones without the reinforced bottom, and are still in great condition.

Amanda C. on 11/24/2019

Great strainer bought this mostly for sifting flours, and other dry ingredients. Also works great for straining liquids or sauces that don't have fine bits or seeds.

Elgun A. on 07/08/2019

Tablecraft 97 10 1/4" Fine Tin Single Mesh Strainer is the perfect size for the products we need strained. Our products don't slip through and this is easy to wash.

Perez J. on 06/26/2019

This Tin Double Mesh Strainer is a must item to have in the kitchen. Built with the right material. We've not had any complaints from our cooks so far. We recommend it.

Ivan M. from Ivan Munoz on 04/12/2019

A real heavy duty mesh strainer. Sturdy handle. Works great for straining soups, hot beverages, etc. A great price too. Ships free with Plus is a bonus.

Andrew H. on 03/15/2019

Table craft makes some great kitchen gadgets, we use this 10 inch for pasta and veggies on the hot line, also use it for sifting flour.

Andrew M. from La Gondola Chicago on 03/11/2019

The Tablecraft 97 10 1/4" FIne Tin Single Mesh Strainer is perfect for sifting confectionary sugar on pasties. The long handle is also great for scooping directly from bulk bags of confectionary sugar, way less messy.

Jeremy B. from Atlantic Baking Company on 01/03/2019

We've been using these strainers for 5 years to strain out our cold-pressed juices. We have purchased many of these. The only complaint is that we wish the wood cleaned a little better.

Amanda R. from Fully Rooted Inc on 09/07/2018

Mike R. from REGARDLESS on 11/02/2017

The Tablecraft 10 1/4" Fine Tin Single Mesh Strainer is sturdy and the handle is firmly attached. The holes are just the right size to prevents what you want to stay inside in.

Sara H. on 10/15/2017

This has been the best tool to provide high-quality products to my customers. I use this to extract chunks that have not been mixed/blended correctly.

Steven W. from TAIYAKI NYC on 04/02/2017

This is fine enough of a strainer to capture medium grind coffee, but fine grains will slip through. Perfect for tea or vegetables that you're trying to separate.

Saxon M. from Town Square Market on 02/25/2017

Strains well, but began developing rust after only a couple times of use. Seems to do better when not used for damp items, although that kind of defeats the purpose. Buy a stainless one.

Ian M. from Little Lion Ice Cream on 07/13/2016

Thank you for the review! We're sorry these have developed rust for you. These must be washed and thoroughly dried directly after using to help resist rust.

This strainer has been very durable and does the trick of straining fine materials or sifting flour, grits, cornmeal, etc. The size is also good for home use.

Grace N. from Mitla Tortilleria on 05/24/2016

I like this strainer a lot. It's perfect for large batches of goods, and its a pretty decent quality. Has held up quite well so far

Jessica G. on 04/21/2016

This is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. We had an older one that was in terrible shape. We replaced with this strainer and it's been wonderful. Only downside is that this large on is just a little bit on the flimsy side. But it's not too bad and I would buy more again if needed.

Ross T. from Toni's Depot on 03/11/2016

We use it to strain soups and sometimes for sauces, and it works great. I will put it on my rebuy list for sure. Good quality too.

Artur A. from Vamcomplex USA on 11/30/2015

Great item to use for straining sauces and soups. I bought this for that particular purpose and it works great. I would recommend highly and buy again.

Christopher C. from Just Eat This Catering on 04/30/2014

Overall, this is a decent strainer. If you take out the wooden handle insert, it will even pass for a commercial kitchen situation. It is a very high quality mesh and sturdy handle.

Karen B. from Gilpin Market on 02/17/2014

I make my own tomato sauce from the gaden tomatoes I grwo. I need something to strain the seeds and pulp from the sauce after I pureed it, and this was the prefect choice. It works exactly as I needed it to !!!

Joan E. on 11/03/2013

Great strainer to have. Strain sauces in it to make sure they are velvety smooth and nothing gets through. I also use it when I juice lemons so no pulp or seeds get in the bowl.
