I love using this sieve at home for whenever I need to sift dry ingredients or when I need to drain anything of excess fluid.

Perfect strainer to use for sifting! They are especially handy when sifting flour or cacao powder for our cakes! As always with this material, be mindful that it may rust.
Monika M. from Monika's Organic Bakery Posted on 04/13/2017
Very good quality strainer. I use this double mesh strainer for times when I need even smaller bits to be removed. This is often the case with various sauces. Great value.

Pretty nice mesh strainer that can be used for a number of different things in the kitchen. It does a good job of sifting things and straining ingredients. The hooks at the top allow you to use it hands free when you needed and able.

I honestly don't understand when I'm in someone else's kitchen and they don't have strainers/sieves like this. This works great for straining liquids and sifting dried goods and they're so cheap you can beat them up and it doesn't even matter.
Mark N. Posted on 12/13/2016
I use the medium double mesh strainer to strain soup stocks. The added tangs on the lip allow for the strainer to stay secure on top of the pot or bowl while straining.

Pretty heavy duty strainer, seems well made. Good mesh hole size for a number activities, both dry and wet. Be careful to fully dry after washing as it will rust for sure, purchased another size (10") and it arrived rusted in a few small spots.

This works great for sifting flour or powdered sugar. I was afraid it would rust, but after 2+ years, it still hasn't rusted. I have also used it as strainer when I didn't have another free and it works for that too.

This works well as a strainer, of course, and also a steam basket. it's a good size for straining bones from stock, with a good, sturdy handle. Great price and an essential kitchen tool!
Sheila J. Posted on 05/11/2016
This works good for powder sugar. I use it for multiple things and powder sugar seems to be the best thing. I have used it for straining crushed pineapple but with any double mesh it's harder to clean but I highly recommend this for everyone.
Erica D. from Small and Simple confections Posted on 03/28/2016
This is a very handy strainer for so many tasks. The size makes it very handy for quick small jobs. A good handle, the mesh is rigid enough so is keeps its shape even with heavy handed use. Cleans best when cleaned up immediately after use.
Kareen D. Posted on 03/25/2016
This strainer is amazing. Its been used multiple times and still looks brand new. It dosesnt get hole in it easily and strains beautifully. One of the easiest products to clean as well.
Jason D. Posted on 02/15/2016
These strainers are terrible. They rusted almost immediately after a few times being washed. I had to throw them away and purchase higher quality stainless steel strainers to replace them.
Kyle F. from Karma Cream Posted on 01/07/2016
Thank you for the review, Kyle. We are sorry these developed rust for you! Since this is made of tin, care must be taken to thoroughly towel dry this immediately after hand washing.

I bought this for washing quinoa not knowing the size of the holes. The quinoa gets stuck in this strainer. It's still useful for straining broths and soups. Nice quality and fits nicely over my anchor batter bowl.

This double mesh strainer is awesome! It does a great job of straining my soups and pureed items so that they are silky smooth. The handle is not flimsy and you don't feel like it going to bend on you when your pouring sometimes thick things that has a good bit of weight to it.

I use this mostly as a sifter. To sift lumps out of flour and sugar for baking goodies for our Grandkids. I do a lot of baking and cooking with them.
Becky M. Posted on 06/25/2015
These strainers are great especially for the price. I strain my juice and the double mesh does a great job extracting any additional pulp to get a nice smooth juice!
Damaris P. from Just Juice 4 Life Posted on 05/29/2015
I love this 8" Medium Double Mesh Strainer. I love it to strain noodles, potatoes and even sifting flour. Can't beat the price, it's well made and sturdy!
Kimberly S. Posted on 02/02/2015
Would not recommend for straining. We used it to strain pulp from lemon juice only. After a few months of washing, strainer began to rust. We let it air dry like all the dishes. Had to trash it when it developed rust. Would NOT recommend.
Alfredo S. from Steakpedos Posted on 12/06/2013
Thank you for your review! This strainer is a great value and should not rust when dried properly. The strainer should be hand dried after washing to maintain quality.

This mesh strainer has almost replaced all the other stainers I own. The loops on the front make it very easy to rest it on top of a pot or pan hands free. Combined with cheesecloth, this strainer get all the particulates out of the liquid you are straining. Good purchase
Eric M. Posted on 12/02/2013
This is a very good strainer. I plan to buy more. I use it all the time. I would strongly recommend this strainer to everyone.
Shawn H. from S & H Gourmet LLC Posted on 11/12/2013
This is a great strainer especially for the price. It is very sturdy and has tightly woven mesh. I feels like it will hold up very well.
Donald S. Posted on 06/19/2013
This is a fantastic, heavy duty strainer. The mesh on most strainers I've used flex and fail at the ring. This strainer is stiff and does not flex.
Kristin S. Posted on 05/02/2013
Good strainer for the price paid. Nice wooden handle and cleans easily. Would recommend purchase to others and if more are needed, would order again.
Michele S. from church Posted on 05/04/2012
This is a lovely strainer. It's very sturdy and, unlike cheaper strainers, it doesn't bend or warp. It's a double layer of wire, which can trap small bits but it's perfect for straining liquids.
Aileen F. from Babycake Bakery Posted on 09/06/2011
This medium double mesh strainer is very durable the holes are just perfect with cleaning up the flour after the batter. I love it and definitely buy more
