This was a bit of an impulse buy - it was a good impulse. This stabilizer makes using my china caps so easy. I have two hands free to do what I've got to do, instead of preforming a balancing act. It is well made, out of thick gauge metal. I like how all the indentations on the three arms allow it to work on virtually every pot and bowl. It's large, as it needs to be. I would recommend this to anyone with a china cap.

The three ridged legs attach securely to your garbage can, steam kettle, mixing bowl, three bay sink, pot, bucket, or other catchment container up to 22" in diameter. The legs and round cradle ensure your strainer does not slide or move while in use. This reduces the chance of burns and lessens the potential for slips and falls caused by splashed liquids!
The cradle design lessens stress on handles and hooks, which reduces handle wear and breakage. Also, strainers with broken handles can become functional tools once more since they still fit in the cradle! Each cradle is made of heavy gauge stainless steel which holds up longer in foodservice applications than other metals.
