Weston 65-1201-W Details

Seal ingredients for storage or pre-cooked portions of food for later use with this Weston 65-1201-W Pro-2500 chamber vacuum packaging machine with a 12" seal bar. This powerful chamber vacuum packaging machine quickly seals each bag and completely vacuums out the air. This not only ensures efficiency, but a reliable, secure seal after every use. For operation, this unit has a 630W pump that draws 29.5" Hg.

The digital display shows the progress of the cycle and the controls are designed for simple use. Since the lid is transparent, you can keep and eye on the vacuum packaging process and also make sure that your bags are aligned properly. The stainless steel body is an additional perk, as it won't corrode or rust from the occasional spill or leak.

This unit has a large chamber and a 12" seal bar that is 3.5mm thick. It can accommodate bags up to 12" wide by 14" long and even has an instant seal function so you can create custom bag sizes. Plus, this model comes with 30 bags so that you can start sealing right away. It includes (10) 6" x 10" bags, (10) 8" x 12" bags, and (10) 12" x 14" bags. This particular model requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.

I have purchased three of these, all three have broken in less than a year. When I finally reached out to Webstaurant they claimed I would need to reach out to Weston directly, so I did. I was then told they are not intended for restaurant use so no coverage. So Webstaurant will not stand behind them and neither will the manufacture. So, the fact it's sold from a restaurant supply, and labelled "pro" doesn't mean anything.
