VacPak-It VME16SS Stainless Steel External Vacuum Packaging Machine with 16" Seal Bar - 120V, 550W

Very happy with this machine. Purchased when a different unit died. Worth the price, we vacuum seal homemade sausages on a regular basis and this item has held up better than others we have worked with.

Don't listen to the naysayers, this unit is awesome. the sealing mechanism just needs to be lifted and reset (looks like electrical tape) because if it gets wrinkled it will not seal correctly, just basic maintenance. This unit blows a food saver out of the water.

I recently bought the vacpak-it with the 16” bar. I’ve used about 20 times already and I love it. I’ve sealed left over pulled pork and big items such as whole racks of ribs. This size machine does it all!

love the machine! but as someone else stated no replacement parts!! now I have a machine I cannot use> this is very frustrating especially coming from a reputable company like this!! going to have to rethink what I buy from here.

This is a great vacuum sealer, but sometimes it can't keep up with the demand. The machine will get hot and stop vacuum sealing properly.

I purchased this vacuum sealer and upon arrival I decided to order replacement seals for later because that is generally what needs replacing down the road. Well, there are no replace parts available for this model. I called customer service to verify and was told "no seals available", so I said I'll simply return it and was told there is "a 30% restocking fee" BUYER BEWARE...! I am not happy nor will I pay a restock fee for an expensive item which no parts are available. If you are shopping for a vacuum sealer make sure there are replacement parts available.

I was excited when I saw this sealer but after using it a few times I'm very disappointed. it takes for ever to suck the bags to seal. I had a cheap one form another company that worked MUCH better.

Unit failed on first use... wouldn’t suck the air out of the bag and wouldn’t lock handle as stated. After 30 seconds, smoke poured out of back. Unit was refunded by webrestaurantstore...thank you!

This vacuum sealer is not worth the money. In the 20 times I used it, it only got all the air out of my bags ONCE suitable for Sous Vide. The water displacement method and a press and seal bag worked far better than this unit. After talking to several folks either on the phone, via chat, or email, I am still stuck with a couple hundred dollar paper weight. The customer service team has let me down big time and all I've tried to do was return the unit and get my money back. They've made it absurdly difficult to achieve this.

We purchased this a few months ago and have used it every month so far. The heaviest we've used it thus far was processing 45 pounds of chicken breast. We wanted this level of machinery for those heavy use days and it's really worked out well so far. The quality seems to be robust. I like having the option of the accessory, wider seal bar and fan to cool the unit.

DO NOT Purchase! We bought this vacuum sealer a few weeks back because we freeze our own vegetables. We were just now able to start using it. It gives error codes E01 and E02 continuously. It has left us in a very bad predicament because I have vegetables that need to be sealed and frozen today! I would give it a minus rating if I could.

This is an excellent vacuum sealer, work great for our business, easy to use, easy to clean and storage, this includes a bags roll and other bags, too the hose accessories for use with ziplock vacuum bags and canisters.

Had this Vac-Pac for over 8 months and works as described. Came with extra seals. I use this on average once a day and vacpak about 50-80 pizza and haven't had an issue yet. Its durable and heavy duty. Overall this is worth the money.

Great for light usage. do not look for replacement parts or help on the internet when something goes wrong there is nothing. Do not buy the extended warranty not worth it. Ultimately they make it so hard to send it back to them then you have to be without the a unit for however long it takes them to fix whatever is wrong and there is a huge list of things that is not covered by that warranty. Just buy a new one which is what they want you to do. You need upper body strength to use it.

I have found this to be a solid vacuum packing machine for home use. Seals well ...use for freezing meats, garden vegetables, and soups. Also use for dried products as coffee, dry pet food, rice, etc and holds seals well. Only thing I would change is a clear lid on the sealer bar so you can see through for perfect placement on bag edge when sealing.

I have a VacPak-It VME12SS, and for the price and size, it is fantastic. I have used this product steadily for almost 4 years with no problems. I follow the directions very carefully, and here are the important rules: 1) When filling a bag, Ieave 3-4 inches of space at the top so food does not get sucked into the sealer. Keep this space clean and dry when loading the bag. 2) Allow at least 1 minute of cooling time between uses, and I usually allow 5 minutes every 3 or 4 uses. The vacuum pump has to be cooled down. 3) Do not remove power until the fan has stopped, and this can be 10 minutes after the last use. It worked well for two years and now it will not make any noise at all or seal anything. Could not find anything about a warranty. That sucks.

We have been using this product for a couple years now. Have had no issues with it. Highly recommended for daily use in a restaurant.

I bought this machine in January 2022. Machine worked great all automated - vacuumed then sealed all without touching it - now will only vaccum - we have to stop it on our own then we have to hit seal on the machine to get it to seal. Found out today no warranty because we bring it into Canada. I will make sure we do not buy anything like this again and will read just purchase equipment etc in Canada.

very bad, a home machine really works better ... from the first month it started to fail, I had to press to remove the air and now it does not seal ... it hurts to lose my money, there is no one to claim ... After basically burning up three home vacuum sealing appliances within five years I decided to purchase a commercial grade system. I love this unit with it's strong and variable vacuum as well as the ability to use 15-inch wide bag rolls. The items sealed on this unit do not lose their seal like home units have done in the past for me. Great item to prepare dishes for sous vide.

After shopping for a commercial qaulity vacuum sealer this unit kept comming up as a graet value. Performs exactly as I expected. The only thing that would be nice is a locking lid so you don't have to apply pressure by hand until vacuum stars building, minor little added feature I think would be nice.

DO NOT BUY this piece of garbage, less than a week of use and the seal bar stopped working, NO WARRANTY for Canadian customers. This is the last time we buy from Webstaurant.
