The best in the price range, except for the safety shield... The machine is fantastic, it's got a really powerful motor, and it's quiet. However, for a commercial machine, I think whoever designed the safety basket around the top has never worked in food service. The fact that there's no quick release mechanism to clean and sanitize it, or to override using the basket when you have to turn it on and off a lot as some recipes require, was clearly not thought out very well at all. As a result, I have had to remove it completely, so I paid for a completely useless part.

Bought this to replace a 6Qt. Much needed professional commercial quality and power. Didn't get much use of the bowl guard as it gets in the way and does not allow the machine to run while adding ingredients as a safety measure.

When my Artisan KitchenAid stopped working after making one too many loaves of bread, I knew I needed something that was made for heavy duty work, was bigger so I could make double cake and bread recipes, and would last longer. I purchased this commercial KitchenAid. I’ve had it for about a year and it is a workhorse. I can make a double recipe of bread (about 4-5 loaves) and the machine will actually kneed it, I can double my carrot cake recipe, and I can make a lot of frosting to decorate cakes. My only regret is that I bothered purchasing the Artisan KitchenAid and didn’t go straight to this commercial model. I purchased the model with the guard. The shipment cane 5/3/2024. I try to stir 1lb dough but I am cery disappointed with commercial kitchen aid mixer. It is not described in their website. They said that 500 watt and 1-3/10HP but it is not true. It is very weak. The price is so expensive than another brand. It is not commercail and household. It is unable to stir 1lb dough. Web restaurant and Kitchen aid not acceptable for return. It is so funny. I can't use. I will never buy Kitchen aid again. Don't believe Kitchen aid and Web restaurant. They just sale and they care the customers. No star if I can.

The hook become very hot and unusable for dough mixing. I don't know it's a KitchenAid problem or wrong description on the website but we have unusable mixer and we can't even return back because of website policy. My last purchase here.

Great mixer, has all stainless steel accessories and a very large mixing pot, color is nice and looking forward to using it on future bakes, finger guard comes with a chute that clips on to make adding ingredients easier

Only used a handful of times so far. However, thus far, it has worked well. This mixer is quiet. I love the 8 quart size, as it serves me well in my coffee shop applications.

This is a good countertop mixer, as are most KitchenAid ones are. With this 8 Qt. size I can do about a quadrupled batch of my cookie dough. My only complaints would be that I don't like how the top (or head) doesn't tilt back. so it makes it a little harder to scrape around the bowl. Also, there are a lot of little nooks and crannies that are hard to clean.

This Commercial 8qt Kitchenaid mixer is amazing! It is prefert for multiple batches of cookies. I can mix 4 packs of butter , that's 8 sticks , 2lbs of butter and 12 cups of sugar perfectly. A total timesaver, I highly recommend this product. I wish I would have bought it soon. Love it !

Although i am a Kitchen Aid/ Hobart fan through and through, this particular unit is a bit disappointing. The bowl does not lower enough to remove the attachment and thus you have to try to remove the attachment and hold it while removing the bowl at the same time. it seems like a design flaw. My employees feel like they are going to spill the bowl when using this mixer and choose to mix by hand instead.

Quality product as usual from KitchenAid. Large 8 qt. capacity allows for larger recipes than the run of the mill models you find at department stores. Very satisfied!

The mixer itself works great and we have had no issues with performance. However, after only 4 months of use, the handle on the mixer bowl broke off. That seems like a very short life for what is supposed to be a commercial mixer designed for this type of use. Other than the bowl handle, no other complaints on this mixer.

I absolutely love this mixer! I have several kitchenaid mixers and this mixer is a beast. I make icing and can even mix up to 6 cake mixes in it at a single time.

We use this for many things, from cream cheese frosting to our house italian dressing to shredding potatoes for potato pancakes. It is fantastic quality and very versatile.

I have a kitchen aid at home that the head can flip up and down. It makes it easier to add ingredients. This mixer doesn't have that feature but I think it might be a safety measure. Still works great and looks great.

I bought the 8qt kitchen aid with the stainless stell guard. I love the machine, use it all day every day but if you have to mix anything that requires something being added while mixing DO NOT get the guard model. I was under the impression that you could move the guard while the machine was on and you cannot. Making buttercream the first time was just a mess. I ended up taking the guard off (just 2 screws) and use it without it now.

I have been saving for two years for this as I just bake for fun. I call this my midlife crisis as I have wanted an upgrade from my professional 6Quart. This machine has been awesome. I was able to make a triple brownie batch three times over in the same amount of time as a single batch in my old mixer. The powerful motor just plowed right through my thick batter. Nice, quieter than my old one and much more powerful. Plus the attachments are made heavy duty. Seriously, best baking buy I have ever made.

It's a kitchen aid, it's great! We make pales cookies from scratch with crazy thick dough and this powers through it with ease. The shield is ok, I wish it came with a better chute for ingredients, but over all a great product
