  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of preferred sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons of frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 a cup of shredded brie cheese
Preparation:
  1. Melt brie cheese slightly to soften for mixture.
  2. Combine egg, sweetener, cranberries, and brie cheese together.
  3. Pour mixture into waffle iron and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Check every minute after the 3-minute mark to make sure it doesn’t burn.
2. Sweet Cinnamon Keto Waffles

Sweet Cinnamon Waffles
Ingredients:
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of fine almond flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of preferred sweetener
Preparation:
  1. Separate eggs with yolks in one bowl and whites in a slightly larger bowl.
  2. Combine all other ingredients together and set aside.
  3. Beat the egg whites until they begin to form peaks and are light and fluffy.
  4. Pour egg yolks into the dry mixture and stir. Then add egg whites into the bowl and stir slowly.
  5. Once the waffle iron is heated up, pour mixture in and cook for 4 minutes.
  6. Repeat with the last of the mixture to make more waffles if needed.

Savory Keto Waffles

To get a more savory-tasting waffle, you can use a basic chaffle recipe and build on it from there.

1. Plain Waffles

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone are best)
  • 1 egg
Preparation:

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of diced white onion
  • 1 tsp mustard
Preparation:
  1. Heat up a small pan and add oil. Add onion to pan and cook until translucent and brown.
  2. Preheat waffle iron.
  3. Combine egg, cheese, mustard, and onions in a small bowl.
  4. Pour mixture into waffle iron and cook for 4 minutes, checking waffles after having cooked for 2 minutes to avoid burning.
