Solid thermometer. We let ours sit in water to measure water temperature (for a bakery) so they're definitely waterproof. Easy to calibrate too, although we almost never need to do that. Excellent product.

With a slim design that slides easily into a pocket, the Comark PDQ400 3" waterproof digital pocket probe / dishwasher thermometer is a convenient way to ensure food safety in your operation. This thermometer features a 3" stainless steel stem and tapers to an FDA recommended 1.5mm tip. Because it's stepped, the tip responds to temperature in less than 6 seconds with a measurement that's accurate to + / - 1 degree Fahrenheit. It samples in just 1.5 seconds. With a temperature range spanning from - 4 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, this thermometer is a highly versatile addition to your restaurant, bakery, cafe or deli. From grilled chicken to boiling soup or cold custard, the thermometer simplifies the process of avoiding the temperature danger zone.
With its maximum temperature function, you can compare previous maximum readings to your current reading. This means that you can use this thermometer to check the final rinse temperature in a commercial dishwasher and ensure that it passes sanitary temperature requirements.To make it truly convenient, the thermometer is waterproof, meaning that it's safe to use in wet or humid settings. It's also treated with BioCote antimicrobial protection to help ensure that your operation remains safe and sanitary.
With an easy-to-read display, the instrument is intuitive to operate. It includes an auto switch off feature to help preserve the included 1.5V battery, as well as a data hold function to freeze the reading on the display.
