Really enjoy using this product, it is perfect for roasts and essential for reverse sear steaks. Large print for the timer and loud alarm. My only complaint is that with frequent use they tend to have issues with the temperature accuracy after about a year - it will be a sudden failure where the temp registers obviously far off. They are cheap enough I just replace them at that point.

Works just as well as any of the more expensive options. The cord is plenty long so there is little concern on that front.

A great little thermometer - it not only is a timer, but when you have reached the desired temperature, it will sound. Received it within few days of ordering it, along with a few other things. This morning I checked its accuracy with boiling water and ice water. As you can see in the submitted photo and video, in a cup of ice water, it is reading 5 deg Celsius and in a boiling pot of water, it is reading at 95 deg Celsius. I am in Salt Lake City, sitting about 4300ft above sea level which means my boiling point would be about 95 deg celsius. Just something to keep in mind. Keep it at Fahrenheit, one will achieve better accuracy just because there will be more frequent reading levels between ice cold and boiling hot (0 to 100C vs 32 to 212F, which means 100 vs. 180 reading levels)

We go through a lot of thermometers in my home, but I'm happy to say this one is still in my possession. Thermometers can be so temperamental and I'm an anxious cooker, so I usually use multiple thermometers to make sure I don't go over my desired temperature. This thermometer is very reliable, but you want to set it about ten degrees lower than your desired exit temperature. I always go for the center of the thickest part of the meat, but it never seems to give me an exactly accurate temperature, usually varying by 10° +/- from what other thermometers will read. So I use this one to get me into the ballpark and then when I get close to my desired temp., I use a few finer thermometers to synchronize with this one and finish the job. I've had a lot of in-oven thermometers and they always end up breaking on me. This one still works, but I'm only giving it four stars because the magnets both fell off the back and I have to reglue them.

Probe works well on the stovetop and in the oven. Have not had any issues so far. Temperature alarm function is convenient as long as you remember to flip the switch to activate it. Timer function worked fine. Handy to have around.

These are great and accurate digital thermometers and timers. The major issue that I have is that they are not durable. They break (error code Lo or just stop working) constantly.

These leave-in thermometers are absolutely invaluable. Alarm features let you know when your chicken breasts are perfectly poached, breads are set in the centre, and roasts just the right internal temp. Eliminates need for opening and closing oven doors, streamlining safety and traffic flow concerns and keeping foods at a more regulated temperature.

I had one of these for about 10 years before it finally gave out. I bought this to replace it. Looks nice, the buttons are easy to press and have a nice feel. Its really convenient having a thermometer, timer, and temperature monitoring all at once if you're roasting a large piece of meat. I love that you can store this on the refrigerator with the magnet on the back when not in use.

this is a great find, best price and easy to use, helps me keep up with other things so I don't have to worry about what time or temp it is, one of my best buys.

This thermometer is great, it has a magnet to attach it to the oven or any other metal surface and an alarm for when your food has reached the desired temperature. The 4' cord connecting the probe to the thermometer is the perfect length so it can get to almost anything, but is not too long.

We ordered several of these thermometers and use them daily for our confectionary business and love them. They are accurate, consistent, and can handle hot temps. Very pleased.

I like this thermometer because of the temperature rand and the cord length. easy battery change out and cleaning is easy. the display is easy to read and the price is fair.

The best feature about this thermometer is the aralm. You can set a desired temp simply by hitting the up or down arroe, and it will alert you once it is reached

this taylor digital cooking thermometer is really great! its really convenient that the probe can be disconnected to clean. i also love the fact that it has a alarm when the temp is reached.

This was nice while it worked. The probe died, but admittedly it was subjected to high heat in an oven. The rubber hook part on the probe is not really long enough to securely hold to a pan, the clip from a standard candy thermometer is better and more secure. Fortunately you can use that type of clip wit this, but it would be nice if it came with one.

Great Thermometer from Taylor! This Digital Cooking thermometer and kitchen timer is exactly what I was looking for. The silicone wire also works well and doesn't get as hot as some of the metal ones I've used in the past.
