With a slim design that slides easily into a pocket, the Comark 314 4 3/4"" waterproof digital pocket probe thermometer is a convenient way to ensure food safety in your operation. This thermometer features a 4 3/4" long, stainless steel stem. This probe is accurate to + / - 2 degrees Fahrenheit, and it can also be switched to show temperature in Celsius. Its full temperature range spans from - 58 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a highly versatile addition to your kitchen, bakery, coffee shop, or catering operation. From grilled chicken to boiling soup or cold custard, this thermometer simplifies the process of avoiding the temperature danger zone.
To make it truly convenient, the thermometer is waterproof, meaning that it's safe to use in wet or humid settings. With an easy-to-read LCD display, the instrument is even intuitive to operate. It includes an auto-off feature to help preserve the included 1.5V battery, as well as a data hold function to freeze the reading on the display. This gives you the time to properly record the temperature as part of your facility's HACCP plan. If you need to recalibrate the thermometer, it's easy to do so in the field.
To begin or end operation, simply press down the on/off button. When you're ready to slip the thermometer back into your pocket, slide it back into its case, clip it to the side of your pocket, and get on with your day, confident that food is cooked to and being held at safe temperatures.
