The blade is very sharp so be careful. It slices through everything I have used it for clean and with precision. The grip is nice, the finger guard making it not as easy to use for chopping, but it is not a chopping knife, it is a utility knife and I have abandoned all my other knives and "utilize" this knife for everything else. Even for chopping, I start with this knife to slice my veggies both directions and then pull out my chopping knife to finish the job. This utility knife puts my old chopping knife to shame.

Has a very slight flexibility, on a rigidity scale of one to ten, ten being the hardest, this blade is a nine, perfect for slicing paper-thin slices from roasted meats. The grip is safe and comfortable, may be too thick for smaller hands. Great all-around knife, and super sharp.....be careful!
