I wanted something cleaner in look and function, and this delivered. The wood is well-sanded with a good soft finish, and they did some fine work enclosing the magnets. The magnets are strong and hold knives both large and small, and the base is heavy and keeps everything in place. I was a bit hesitant due to the price tag, but it was worth it!
