This Manitowoc SM-50A ice machine is the perfect ice production and storage solution for conference rooms, break rooms, or stadium luxury boxes. This machine is capable of producing up to 53 lb. of ice per day while storing up to 25 lb. at a time. The air-cooled design uses less water than water-cooled units and the self-contained refrigeration system makes installation more convenient. This model can fit in standard cabinet cutouts or be used as a stand-alone unit. It requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

Extremely happy with the Manitowoc Ice Maker. Instruction book was easy to follow for installation, ice adjustment, and bin fullness adjustment. It is high quality stainless steal on the top and all sides, except the back. Looks great by itself or fits nicely under a counter top. It can fill the bin in about 12 hours. Only negative is that the ice builds up at the drop point, so to fill the bin occasionally you need to push the ice further back in the bin. The included plastic ice scoop is functional but for a lot of use, I don't anticipate it will last long. It is a commercial unit, so it is a bit loud if you plan to use in a residential setting.
We love this ice maker and it installs easily. The only issue we had was we thought it came with a drain pump. After reading the Spec. we realized it was optional and you could purchase separate. We ended up buying one and it works perfect now.
