With 2 hefty 1 gallon capacity jars, you'll find yourself loading up the blender much less frequently than on traditional, smaller blenders. You'll also enjoy the benefit of being able to blend without immediately rinsing the jar after each batch. Each jar features two integrated handles to provide more stability as you are transporting and pouring from it.

Stainless Steel Jar

Made of heavy-duty stainless steel, the blender jar resists corrosion and withstands the wear and tear of a busy commercial kitchen. Plus, as opposed to plastic jars that are prone to scratching, clouding, and hazing, this stainless steel jar is much more durable and has a greater temperature tolerance. This makes it useful for storing contents in a refrigerator or for blending hot soups. It features dual handles for added safety during transport.

2-Piece Lid

The jar's 2-piece lid design allows staff to add ingredients while blending without having to remove it or stop the motor. Simply remove the clear center plug and replace it after adding ingredients.

1-Gallon Capacity

With the included hefty 1-gallon jar, it's easy to blend large batches of sauces, dips, smoothies, and purees. Your staff will need to load up the jar less frequently than with a traditional size blender jar.

Integrated Clasps

Integrated clasps on the side of the blender jar lock down the lid to prevent overflow and make blending hot liquids safer.

Non-Skid Feet

Non-skid feet at the base of the blender help to further eliminate the probability of movement and spillage while in use.

3 Speeds + Timer

With 3 speed options from low to high and a pulse button that allows the user to throttle quick bursts of power, this model provides complete control over the blending process. It utilizes slow-start blending to break down larger ingredients before increasing to higher blending speeds. This not only prevents messes but also takes some of the strain off of the motor to help increase its overall lifespan. There is also a digital display timer function that can be adjusted in 30-second intervals.

Can I blend frozen fruit?

For the best results we recommend blending only fresh or partially thawed frozen fruit. If using completely frozen fruit, we suggest a ratio of 1 ¼ parts liquid to 1 parts frozen fruit on high speed.

Can I use this blender to chop ginger?

Due to ginger's hard and fibrous texture, it is not recommended to use this blender to chop whole pieces of ginger. Instead, it is advised to use a knife or box grater to mince the ginger before adding it to the blender jar.

Can I use this blender to chop whole garlic cloves?

Yes, although we suggest chopping or mincing garlic before adding it to the blender jar for the most consistent blending results.

Can I use this blender to make hummus?

For best results, we do not recommend using this blender to make hummus. This blender is designed for creating various drinks, juices, smoothies, soups, and sauces such as salsa. We suggest using an AvaMix batch bowl food processor for making hummus.

Can I use this blender to make nut butter?

No, it is not recommended to use this food blender for making nut butter. Our recommendation is to use a food processor instead.

What is the proper technique for blending?

For proper blending, load the jar with liquid and soft ingredients on the bottom and hard and frozen ingredients on top to avoid cavitation and ensure a consistent and smooth texture. For heavy-duty food blending, pulse the blender several times to quickly incorporate the ingredients and then switch to a constant blending speed.

What is the proper technique for cleaning my blender jar?

Due to the metal construction of their drive components, blender jars are a hand wash only item. They should not be run through a dishwasher, and care should be taken to avoid directly spraying the bottom of the container with a high pressure pre-rinse faucet. For best results, clean the bottom of the jar with a washcloth and a mild detergent or sanitizer when needed.
