I am a trained chef and have used both other and waring blenders in the past. I can say without reservation after more than 2 months of every day use with a family who loves protein shakes I love this blender. It is quieter than the vitamix and pulverizes just about anything effortlessly. I have even made cherry ices from freshly cooked cherries and the consistency was smooth and luxurious. And did I say this thing was quiet? Do not ask yourself if you need this model- Waring really is that good. Just do it.

I have had this product for a week. I did quite a bit of research, but as good as the web is, hands-on is obviously much better. First I want to say that buying webstaurantstore was a good experience. Good price, really fast shipping, and very good communication. 5 stars for that. really good blender, we did not have the money upfront to buy a commercial vitamix so we settled for this. but honestly this thing has been used and abused, continuing to impress us everyday with the sheer volume it can handle. works just as good as a vitamix

An ok blender not bad but the canister is what does the trick. I would go for a vitamix. But the vitamix containers that we have fit on th this base. So the base works fine but the vitamix container has the perfect blade to really grind things. Also the base has these ruubber/foam looking edges which make it really hard to clean.

really bad experience from this one. We've only gotten it three months ago and we used perhaps a dozen times. last week, it just started going crazy, running at full speed not responding to the dial setting (the dial also came in very flimsy, almost loose). after that fiasco it simply stopped working altogether. really frustrating. Even before it broke I felt like the unit's construction could have been more solid. The speed dial is just so flimsy and poorly designed. I'd recommend looking at something else.

these blenders are monsters, they can pulverize just about anything. we have two in our ice cream section to make shakes and malts. to make a shake from hard, hand dipped ice cream most people recommend letting the ice cream warm up to about 20 degrees before trying to mix into a shake. no wait with these. just add scoops and milk and other ingredients into the hopper, start on slow speed and gradually increase speed to proper thickness. most shakes ready in 30 to 45 seconds. also good for smoothies. we bought two extra canisters for busy times and will more of them and 2 more blenders as our business grows. they are a bit loud at high speed but they are turning over 20000 rpm, does not interfere with our store at all.

This is an excellent blender, and it really get the job done. It is fast, powerful, and very sturdy, with exception of the switches, but haven't had an issue yet!

This blender feels really high quality, and it blends food really quickly. I clean it by "blending" soapy water. The only issue is that the switch feels a little flimsy. However, I haven't had any problems with the switch breaking.

Great blender for a great price. We use this at our juice shop, and have recently purchased another to use at our new cafe. Waring brand can be trusted, which is something to appreciate when it comes to kitchen equipment.

The Waring is a good brand. Your really get value here. Sure you can buy a better and more expensive blender. But for the price you really cant beat this blender. i would recommend it to a medium busy business.

If you do some research you will realize that this is way better than other blenders. more importantly its at half the price and almost double the horsepower. Cleans easily and is a great investment. Only thing I don't like is the orange sticker backing.

I did a huge amount of web research comparing this to the Vitamix and Blendtec competition. Although how the Waring actually gets to 3.5 HP (it doesn't make sense technically as the motor watts aren't high enough to make that math work), it still has more power and speed than the competition for hundreds less ($318 versus $529 for the Vitamix 7500). The "hundreds less" was what allowed my wife to agree to the purchase without risking divorce proceedings. It works beautifully for green smoothies and generally even blends in berry seeds. It's amazingly powerful and will quickly blend even tougher materials. As a point of concern, the blade's bearings do get disturbingly hot pretty quick. I love this blender, I have a nutribullet, and now I had a nutribullet. The Waring Xtreme ,is worth every penny. I made my first smoothie, 10 minutes after opening, fantastic.

this is the ultimate blender right here. The horse power is much higher than the vitamix. the variable speed control maximizes the versatility of this blender.
