We purchased this blender last August to mix smoothies and thus far it has worked fairly well. I dropped the lid yesterday and the ears on the clear plastic piece of the lid broke off, so it won't lock into the cover. Today was chatting with a member of your customer service team and they are telling me I need to purchase the entire container. There has to be a way one could just purchase the clear lid. Additionally, I now see the new unit comes with 2 Jars, however mine only came with 1 Jar. I have model number 928HBX1000.
