The Hamilton Beach HBB255 Rio 1.6 hp drink blender with 2 speeds and 48 oz. Eastman Tritan™ jar will give your customers the smoothest mixed drinks they've ever had in just a matter of seconds! Boasting a 1.6 hp motor, you can blend your beverages with incredible precision with two speeds; high and low, and pulse options. Plus, the stainless steel blade design continuously forces your mixture into the blades, ensuring that there are never chunks of ice or other product leftover at the end of the blending process. Instead of turning in a circular motion like traditional blenders, blades in the unique Wave-Action® system move up and out to pull ingredients from the top down for an even, consistent mix all the way through.
This blender features a durable metal drive coupling which works to provide power and torque to the blade. A coupling that does not fit correctly will strip the blender attachment, so it is extremely important that this part is sturdy. An incredibly versatile piece of equipment, it also includes a durable, break-resistant BPA-free Tritan™ container for long-lasting performance, even with high-volume use. Plus, the wide, square jar accommodates larger ingredients, saving you prep time and your guests waiting time!
For extra safety and convenience, this blender is equipped with Sure Grip feet to prevent skidding. Plus, the jar and blade are fully removable from the base while the protective brow directs drips away from the controls, making clean up an easy task. Simply wash, sanitize, and stack the container for easy cleanup and compact storage! This unit requires a 120V electrical connection.

Very good blender. We are open 5 days a week for 10 hour days and use two of these on the counter continously. The only negetive is the bearings in the blade do not hold up. We have had to replace them twice now. If you can afford a better blender i would reccomend to stay away from this one unless you want to replace parts every so often.

The metal is very resistant and well-made. It can withstand high heat that would melt other materials. It is highly recommended for its durability and resilience.
