Rubbermaid 1812591 Pelouze 12 lb. High Performance Digital Portion Control Scale

I purchased this scale to accurately weigh an measure ingredients. I love that it can be powered either by battery (so you can move it around to different work stations) or by power cord. I have been using this scale to prepare herbal remedies, to weigh out small amounts of essential oils, and in soap making. It also serves double duty as my postage scale. The stainless steel plate is removable for easy cleaning and sanitation. I have been using this scale regularly for about 6 months.

This thing is very durable. We've accidentally dropped it a couple times and it still is weighing stuff out correctly each time. Easy to clean and its nice to be able to switch between units of measurements.

Great sclae for a great price. We use this every day for portioning all our proteins out which can get very expensive with every oz since its seafood.

Was a decent scale when it worked, but it stopped working about four days after the warranty expired. I wouldn't expect it to last more than a year with light to moderate use.

These scales work great but are a little small for my use (bakery). They both showed some ware after 6 months of use. I like that the scale has several different units.
