Taylor TE32FT 2 lb. Compact 5 3/8" x 5 3/8" Digital Portion Control Scale

These Taylor scales are poorly made and are quite flimsy compared to how they used to be. If you can find an old one, buy it, but these are basically disposable, not going to last very long.

Scale has held up to daily use for several years. It has been wet, dropped, and overall abused but it still works great. Only service has been replace the battery every once in a while

Excellent portion control scale. It’s holds up to moisture extremely well. We use it to portion out alligator tail, sliced deli meats and burger patties.

Awesome little set of scales, lightweight & durable. Easy to use & easy to clean, I like that the tray cover comes off for cleaning.

This scale is a great model. I recently had to purchase a second scale due to wear and tear on the older one. The new one I received had a technical issue. Customer service has done a fine job in aassisting me with a solution for replacement.

Very precise. It gives me the .5 grams I need to perfect my baking recipes, and enough time to gather more ingredients with out turning itself off while I grab them.

Nice little scale! Perfect size for measuring portions. Correct portion sizing saves on food costs! The NSF certification is important to help satisfy the health department.

Overall good little scale, we use ours for portions. It works great for smaller weights. One of ours dropped however and now does not work at all now. Not very durable. The distance was very small.

We need a small good scale to weigh slices for sandwiches . This is a good scale which holds up well. for the price its good.

Great portion scale. The cord breaks easily. We just started using batteries because we could not find a power cord. I going to find a power cord online

Love the Taylor digital scale. It comes with the option of using a wall plug or batteries so it is very portable. Weighs out our 16 ounce burgers perfectly with an easy to read display.

We've purchased a few different scales since our restaurant opened and fortunately it seems we wont have to replace this one any time soon. Its durable and accurate.

I ordered the scale for portion control. It's very sturdy and doesn't take up much room so it makes it very easy to move around as needed as we work. It's fairly quick to display the weight so you don't waste any time.

Great for weighing our meats for controlling food cost. Works very simple, but most importantly it is extremely accurate for everything we have weighed on this.

This is a great scale! We use them for portioning (typically 1/4 to 1/2 of a pound). They tare easily and can withstand the rigors of being on the line. One note -- they really don't like being wet. One of ours was dropped into a steam table well with about an inch of water in it, and that was enough to render it damaged beyond use. Great product for the price.

For the price, this scale cannot be beat. Very consistent for measuring out portions to help me keep consistent servings. Plus, cleaning is extremely easy after measuring out burger portions.

I am happy with the precision and ease of use. I also like how when I'm measuring items, the readout does not "hunt" up and down, but rather, it shows the weight and holds stable. I am not giving it 5 stars because mine does not sit completely flat. It rocks a little even though all of the rubber feet are in place.

The Taylor 2 lb compact digital scale was just what was needed for perfect portion controlling. Quality made and very easy to use and clean.

We purchased two of these to weigh cheese, meats, etc. for pizza. We love them. The only reason for a four star versus a five star is because digital scales take some getting used to. A few shreds of cheese can change the reading 1/10 of an ounce which is difficult to get exactly on the ounce mark.

this is the perfect size scale for smaller items. the baker uses it often to measure ingredients accurately. we also use at the Deli so as not to over portion the meats.

This digital scale has worked well for us. It appears to be perfectly accurate. We like the size of it. It's easy to move around and read the numbers.

I have two of these at each of my two locations and can tell you that they are a touch inconsistent (though not that bad considering the price) and that the AC adapter makes all the difference in the world. I use them for portion control in sandwich building and while they're running on battery it can take a few seconds or more for the 'tare' option to engage. When the rush is on, there simply isn't time to wait and see whether or not the scale is going to clear and when before moving on to the next topping. If you have a circuit available to plug them in (I do at one of my locations) the problem is significantly lessened.

This is the perfect compact digital scale for making small batches of baked goods! It can measure in ounces or grams!! Good for small measurements of spices too!!

These are great to have when measuring out small quantities of items. It can measure grams which is very nice for scaling out baking recipes.

This scale works great and is annoying at the same time. Its accurate when compared to my certified scale but the auto shut off feature can be frustrating. If you disable the feature battery life is very short. Wish I could use the included AC adapter but I don't have a nearby outlet.

A great item for portion control and bulk-slicing weights. Seems very accurate and is easy to use. Keeps us from guessing about how thick our slices are.
