This scale works great once you turn OFF the wave function. Press and hold ON/OFF and TARE keys until the scale displays "SETUP". Press TARE 2 times and then press ZERO 5 Times. After that press TARE and you should be all set.

This scale has a motion detection part to tare the scale that is WAY to sensitive. We own a bakery and this scale reads any movement we make. And we set the sensitivity to the lowest setting. So while we are weighing out somthing it will randomly tare. Cause us to start over. Waste of money, waste of labor.

Good for the price but be sure it is perfectly level sometimes it can get finicky if it's not exactly level it's kind of annoying to level but that just goes with the product it's not the products fault

While we like the physical design of this scale (the size of the platform, the height above the counter level) we've had battery issues since the beginning. We'd have to fiddle with the position of the batteries all the time because we'd get false Low Battery messages. But now even new batteries won't work and we just get the Low Battery message. It still works when plugged in, but now it's use is severely limited in the kitchen by needing to be plugged in.

Worked fine for about 3 months. At that point, the tare button started not to work. We were able to get by since the power button also would zero out the scale. Now, 5 months in, that no longer works either.

Never use it. the charge doesn’t last more than a day, we just left it plugged in but it was in the way. so just used our other scales. The wave tare feature is super annoying and messed up things.
