I loved Mercer knives due to the fact thing that these particular knives are anti-bacterial free they sharpened very nicely and they hold the sharp edge forever it seems like the purple is the color of choice I have and I don't like deep purple and these are medium purple and they have a nice color to them so I can find where they are at
Only need a couple of the knives but basically got the extra knives and board for free so why not ! Color coded handles make it great for organizing to keep certain colors in certain sections of the kitchen!
