My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Contact our Special Orders team prior to placing your order, and we will let you know what will work best for the equipment you are planning to purchase.
SunFire X36-6R HOT TOP NAT Details
This Garland SunFire series X36-6R natural gas 4 burner range with standard oven and hot top comes packed with features that enhance its convenience and usability. Its sturdy yet economical design is ideal for those looking for a basic restaurant range without additional frills or expensive add-ons. Four powerful 30,000 BTU two-piece burners are set in split "Q" style cast iron grates. On the left side, a 12" wide and 5/8" thick hot top plate features a manual valve and 18,000 BTU. This hot top replaces 2 open burners, reducing the standard 6 burner design down to 4 for added versatility. From boiling and simmering to sauteing, this unit can do it all. In addition to a large, 27" deep work top surface and a 4" stainless steel plate rail, the range offers plenty of room to work.
The standard oven features a robust 33,000 BTU steel tube burner and a nickel-plated oven rack with a fixed 2-position removable guide. Plus, the ribbed porcelain oven bottoms and door interiors and aluminized tops, sides, and backs make cleanup a snap! An easy-to-use thermostat even provides a temperature range from low to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, making for excellent flexibility.
This unit is easy to clean thanks to its stainless steel front and sides. It even features 6" steel core legs, which raise the unit up off the floor so that it's easy to mop around at the end of the day. A natural gas connection is required for operation.
