Cooking Performance Group S36-SU-N Gas 6 Burner 36" Step-Up Range with 1 Standard Oven - 210,000 BTU

My restaurant bought this unit in December 2020, the date I am writing this review is January 27th, 2022. The pilot light of the oven has been broken two times already. Today the pilot is not working again, it was replaced in September 2021 the last time, not even 5 months ago. Buyer be aware and stay away from this Range and Oven unit.

This review is for the the customer service from Webstaurant and for the 6 burner 36" gas range. The range with standard oven is obviously a competitive price which is the reason for our purchase. After receiving this product we realized the oven was heating in an inconsistent manner. Webstaurant was contacted and they immediately sent out a service technician for warranty. I do see the other reviews here for issues, My recommendation is to purchase this product and test thoroughly and contact webstaurant if there are any issues. They will take care of you!

I Purchased this in late March of 2022 and it worked for 2 days. Even when it did work the griddle never reached over 120 degrees. I have spent over a month trying to get it repaired and the warranty has not helped. I cant even find people that will work on this unit. I have never purchased a CPG product before this and doubt I ever will again.

Ordered this griddle oven combo for my small restaurant. This thing is heavy. To be expected with a thick griddle plate. The pilots are pretty far back and difficult to light unless you have a very long stemmed lighter. Great product.

Grease traps are way too small. It has a small leak allowing grease to get to bottom of oven and catch fire. The flat top runs hot. The burners work great. This was the perfect size, however the leak allowing grease to the bottom has caused more problems then good.

grease trap is not long enough. the stove will catch on fire very quickly. still dump trap before it overflows oil still somehow gets to bottom of oven. do not buy this product!

This range is working wonders for my business! Being able to use the range, griddle, and oven all at once and in one area! Hope to have it for decades!

Have this range for 2 weeks .and I'm very happy with the quality Definitely recommended.

This is the 4th out of 7 appliances we have bought from webstaurant that has had issues just outside the warranty period. After a year and a half the thermocouple has gone out and now we are without an oven for at least 3 days due to shipment of part and getting a technician onsite to replace it. It also cooks very uneven with hot and cold spots. Unless you are just looking for a cheap oven to use as a secondary unit, I would spend the money on a better product. We could have bought an American Range for what we paid for this plus the cost of my replacement and the opportunity cost lost from being down several days.

This unit has had multiple problems with the pilot light. The warranty people have given us the run around for months and this was for the pilot light issue for about the third time. But now, still with no help while still under warranty, the grill isn't pulling enough gas to work at all. This is happening on a busy Saturday night during our busy season and is our only grill and one of two ovens. We have been in contact so many different times and I don't understand why after lots of money worth of business, I can't get my unit replaced or repaired while under warranty. I'm very concerned about all of my other warranties now. I hope this is resolved asap properly or I will never use this company again.

This is honestly a really solid unit. I've had few issues with it, but it seems that other people have had major ones. Mostly, it seems others have had issue getting the machine to work, a problem I never had. The biggest problem I've had with the unit is that its hefty size makes moving it around troublesome. Though that's not what I want to highlight in this review. What I want to highlight is that the unit itself works great, but that you have to be careful when using the overshelf. I got rid of the shelf attachment on mine, the issue was that the shelf part would get too hot (200+ Fahrenheit) to store anything useful there. One of my pot holders melted because I absentmindedly left it up there! But yeah, overall it's a great unit and I simply do not understand the shelf's function.

Writing this on April 2nd 2022. When it is shipped it comes in a crate so have a crow bar handy. Assembly was easy to do. To find the pilot of the oven you must kick the bottom plate to open it and it is there. Took me a week or two to figure that out. So far it runs well with no issues with 4 months in operations.

I bought this stove for my catering business. It is absolutely perfect. I arrived without one single scratch and it was ridiculously easy to roll right into my kitchen after I installed the caster wheels. I'm very pleased with it and look forward to using it for the years to come.

Absolute garbage. If you get a year out of this, consider yourself lucky. Please avoid this range, replaced my original purchase once (warranty) , dead again, webstaurant says it's a couple of weeks out of warranty and I'm out of luck. Other sites have better products and service

This oven ran well for about a year and then the oven just stop working. The pilot won’t stay lit and I was quoted $ to fix. No way! Might as well buy a new one.

Just opened our restaurant. The griddle top was used just for peppers and onions. It lasted 2 days and now the griddle top will not heat past 150 degrees.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this range. The oven runs 125 degrees hot and the burners don't have a low enough flame to simmer so I use cast iron skillets below my pots to act as flame tamers. Luckily I have 2 convection ovens that I can use in place of the oven which I'll just use as a plate warmer. Spend the money and buy a better quality product.

This range is exactly what we wanted. It is simple, and powerful. We love the fact that there are no electronics in it whatsoever. The oven is spacious, and easy to use with a cheap Bluetooth thermometer. If you want a simple workhorse type range- this is it.

I bought this one year and 2 months ago and the oven regulator stopped working. Cheap stuff they used. I have to spend more money in just one year.

I bought this stove in March of 2022. I never even hooked this up until July 26 2022 The thermocouple went bad in September 2022. Here it is March and it's out again. This grill is wonderful but the oven is awful.I think maybe I got a lemon
