Make the most of your cooking line by adding this Vulcan VR72 72" remote condenser refrigerated chef base to your kitchen! This base has four drawers and can hold up to a total of (8) 12" x 20" x 6" pans of ingredients close at hand. By keeping ingredients nearby but still refrigerated, you can prevent additional trips back and forth to the refrigerator while still protecting your food from time and temperature abuse.

Each of the drawers has 14 gauge stainless steel drawer slides, a magnetic snap-in gasket, and a self-closing mechanism to ensure that the drawers close properly no matter how busy your staff is. And, for when you need to load or unload the drawers, they also have a stay open feature to hold them open while you work. Plus, to reduce interior condensation the drawers have controllable anti-condensate perimeter drawer heaters.

This unit features a stainless steel countertop with a marine edge that helps to contain drips and spills until they can be cleaned up, reducing the chance that your floors could become slippery. The top has a maximum weight capacity of 1200 lb. so you can place your countertop charbroiler, griddle, or other equipment safely on top.

The cabinet is made of stainless steel inside and out for long-lasting durability and ease of cleaning. Inside, this chef base has 2" thick high-density, foamed-in, non-CFC insulation to help maintain cold interior temperatures and add extra rigidity to the cabinet. A set of 3" casters is included to make it easy to roll this unit away from the wall for easier servicing and cleaning. Plus, when you need to access the refrigeration system for service or maintenance the side, front, and rear access panels are easy to locate and remove.

This remote condenser unit uses a separate refrigeration system (sold separately) that can be installed somewhere else nearby depending on the available ventilation and usable space in your kitchen. The interior temperature range of 34-38 degrees Fahrenheit is controlled by the microprocessor controls. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation.
