After researching I decided that this would be an excellent compliment to my 10 year old Wusthof Classic knives. I didn't have a boning knife yet and wanted one to match my other set. This knife is lovely with comparable quality to my Wusthofs. They use the same steel and same handle materials. The handle is finished perfectly with no gaps. It is comfortable. It is noticeably more rounded than its Wusthof counterpart. While not a direct comparison it is thicker than the 6" Wusthof sandwich blade handle as well. The Wusthof has ridges where the curved sections meet the flat areas near the rivets. This gives the Wusthof a bit more of a solidified grip in the handle in my opinion. I think that in use it will matter very little. Looking forward to purchasing more of these knives. Pictures show the differences in handles as well as the flexibility of the blade.
