This vacuum packaging machine oil is a good product and a good choice for everyone. Prevents rust. Good price and good quality. Does what it's meant to do well.
Enhance the functionality of your vacuum pump with this Lubriplate L0944-054 universal vacuum packaging machine pump oil! This non-detergent mineral oil is formulated for optimum lubrication, without the production of carbon deposits. There are no additives, like rust inhibitors, thus extending the life of your oil and protecting your vacuum packaging machine.
With an ISO viscosity grade of 32 and a viscosity index of 122, it's ideal for commercial use and industrial equipment. This light, universal oil is compatible with all vacuum pump brands. It comes in a 1 quart container so that you have plenty available to change out the oil in your machine's vacuum pump. It is important to check your vacuum pump oil level at least once a week. The oil should be clear, not cloudy, and free of bubbles. The amount of times your oil will need to be changed varies and depends on the working conditions, environment, and the usage of your vacuum pump, but it is recommended to change the oil at least every 50 working hours or every 6 months. It's a good idea to keep a few containers on hand if your machine sees heavy use so that you're always ready to make an oil change.

Got this for my new vacuum sealer. It did come leaking all over the place, but the store fixed it. It does what it is intended to do, but be sure to lay in extra as the vacuum sealers tend to use a bit.
