I received this 6 inch chef knife. I gave used the knife one time so far to cube a tomato for a salad. This knife is capable of making a tomato slice so thin you can see through it. The fit a finish are very good, blade grind is even, the bolster is slightly above cutting edge of blade so you can get a full cut on cutting board and it's super sharp.
During the sharpening and finishing process I did notice that there are a few high and low spots on the edge. Again not a big deal considering the price, other wise it seems to be well made and feels good in the hand. I believe this knife will sever me well for a long time. .
I do like the smaller chef knife to use for food prep on smaller items, think chopped garlic, parsley, great for fresh herbs. I have 8 inch chef knives that I use for larger things and a large nakiri for things like whole heads of cabbage and butternut squash.
