    This knife was very sharp when we got it. We use it all the time and have only had to sharpen it once since we've had it.
    This is an excellent boning knife! it is very sharp and it stays sharp even with a lot of use. It is dishwasher safe and great for restaurants and for home use.
    This 6" narrow, stiff boning knife has a ground blade that is highly durable and exceptional at "holding an edge", so it rarely needs sharpening. The special hardening process the blade undergoes results in excellent corrosion resistance and the molded poly handle provides a comfortable, secure grip.
    This is a decent stiff boning knife perfect for taking breast off the bones, and for getting into joints to separate legs. Perfect stiffness and length.

    good knife, but doesn't hold it's edge as well as i had hoped. Bones well, and i use it for filleting fish as well. I like the 8" knife a little better, and using the slightly more flexible blade is better. Still, the price point is incredible for these knives, far superior in cost/benefit ratio to the 'dexter russell' knives. Will definitely re-order form this family of knives .
    I recently acquired the boning knife to assist in butchering deer. I find the knife to be properly sized, easy to grip and very sharp. Highly recommended for the price.
    I used to use a regular chefs knife to trim meats but after using this, I will never go back. The handle feels sturdy in your hand, the blade is sharp, and the narrowness of the blade makes it easy for precise cuts.
    A good quality boning knife. Was able to de-bone a chicken alot faster then I use to be able to trying to use a chef knife or a paring knife to try and debone a chicken. A great knife addition to any kitchen.
