Commercial Restaurant ovens cover a wide range of cooking equipment with an equally wide range of uses. In this video, we will discuss several varieties of commercial ovens that you can find at the WEBstaurant Store, and also talk about some of the features of various ovens. Convection ovens are some of the most heavily used ovens in a commercial kitchen. Convection ovens vary from a standard oven through the use of a fan. The fan creates air circulation, which not only cooks or bakes the food faster, but also limits temperature variations in the oven. Cooking at 25% less time than a standard oven, convection ovens will give you the production that you need. We have convection ovens in full size, like this Baker’s Pride, or countertop units. Some convection ovens are even energy star rated. Convection ovens are some of the most heavily used ovens in a commercial kitchen. Their ability to quickly warm makes them invaluable in a busy restaurant environment. It also makes them perfect for convenience stores and break rooms. At the WEBstaurantStore, we have a huge selection of microwaves, including large units that are powerful enough to replace a countertop steamer! Commercial pizza ovens can mean anything from tiny snack ovens for warming and crisping frozen pizza, to huge deck ovens that are the engines behind any busy pizza shop. Not only are deck ovens great for pizza, but they are great for baking breads, pretzels, and toasting hoagies. Just like a conveyor line allows high production in a factory setting, a conveyor oven allows for high production of food in the busiest of pizza shops and sandwich shops. Whether they use ceramic or quartz elements, or jets of hot air, which is referred to as impingement, conveyor ovens are a great way to keep your food production moving fast.Rapid cook ovens combine the speed and efficiency of a microwave, and the toasting and browning that you get from a convection oven. These high speed ovens use a combination of microwaves and either impingement or convection. Often seen in the busiest and most popular sandwich shops, the speed and quality that one gets from these rapid cook ovens from Turbochef, Merrychef, and Amana are also perfect for snack shops, grab and go areas, and cafes. They typically do not need to be put under a hood, which makes these ovens a perfect for adding add hot food to previously cold food menus. In addition to the main categories of ovens I’ve mentioned, we also have cook and hold ovens for those of you for whom slow and low cooking is the name of the game, standard restaurant ovens, and many sizes of rotisserie ovens for merchandising and cooking of chickens and other foods. To make your Commercial oven shopping easy, the product pages for all of our ovens include spec sheets and manuals. DO NOT BUY AN AVANTCO OVEN! We purchased 2 of these ovens for our 2 coffee shops in November. We only bake 2 or 3 sheets of pastries per day. The first one stopped heating in Feburary. After going back and forth with Avantco they finally replaced it. Now the second one has stopped heating. After reaching out to Avantco again we are told they only have a 6 mo warranty. SIX MONTHS!!! The irony is we bought these ovens to replace quarter-sheet ovens we bought at another company that we had no problems with for 3 years. We hoped to increase our capacity and "upgrade" to commercial ovens that only lasted months. So we have gone back to using our other brand oven. Save yourself the frustration.

I searched for months to find an affordable but heavy duty half-size convection oven. The home models were too flimsy or small, and most commercial models were way out of my price range. The Advantco was exactly what I was looking for. It runs on normal household current, but is still plenty powerful. It is all stainless construction and comes with four baking racks. The oven fan is quite powerful. You really need to be careful about opening it while it’s running, because you will be blasted with hot air. I did notice, as other reviewers have commented, that it has a hot spot, and you really should rotate the food half way through the cooking process. One unusual design is where the heating element is located. I would have expected the element to be at the top and/or bottom of the oven, but it coils around the convection fan in the rear. My single biggest complaint is that it has no oven light. I have to keep a portable clip on light handy to hook onto the oven handle in order to clearly see inside while the food is cooking. I sure wish Advantco would consider putting in an oven light – it would make this countertop convection oven near-perfect. Cleaning involves taking off the for screws that old the housing around the fan and two screws on the sides that old the chrome rails that the baking racks fit into. Then you have complete access to the interior. I’ve done one thorough cleaning since I owned it, and it came out looking like it was brand new. Read Less Read More

If you need what you bake to cook evenly, this oven is not a good choice. The outside cookies on my pans will be burned, with the ones on the inside not being cooked enough. I wish I had not selected this oven.
we just received this one a week ago. It is not too bad, built strong. It just takes a little bit time to get hot. So far so good
Purchased this oven for our mold manufacturing company and it works great. Tons of room inside the oven for running prototypes. Heat is pretty consistent as well. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a tabletop solution that's still spacious enough for larger capacity items.
I have had no issues with this countertop oven. It puts off very little heat, which is great in the small space we have it in. Like any oven, it does have some hot spots, so I rotate my sheets halfway through. I have had no complaints and am contemplating purchasing a second one!
This oven has its quirks! I know they say every oven is a learning experience, so let me share what I've learned. The hot spot is the back right-hand side of the oven. If you bake with more than 2 trays, the temperature will drop too much to keep a consistent bake, so you will have to add time to all of your items. You will have to rotate SOME items, not all. Anything in rows. Surprisingly enough, I have baked cakes and cookies at the same time, and I found that the cakes do not need to be turned at all. They bake really evenly thanks to the circular shape. From time to time, this oven rattles. It is not completely stable inside. Make sure your trays are not directly touching the back of the oven, and be sure to clean it frequently!!!!! Also, take good care of the seal. Mine seemed to be a little worn on day one, and I kick myself for not speaking up about it. The seal on the oven door must be watched closely. I would recommend this oven for very light use. If you are starting a small business, this is not the right oven for you. Read Less Read More

I have a small boutique pie shop. I use this oven to bake our pies. It seems the back, right portion of this oven is hotter than the rest as my pies on that side tend to burn. So I have to regularly rotate my pies during the cooking process to prevent them from burning. Other than that glitch this oven bakes my pies very well. Flakey crust cooked all the way through and much quicker than our regular electric oven. I would buy another one if I needed it - I really like it. I recommend it for a small bakery/shop environment on a limited budget.
We have only had this oven for less than a year and we only use it ONCE per week. It is already causing us so many issues. My husband had to "jimmy rig" it together to run now. The whole inside seal is broken, too. Don't buy this.

I bought this oven 6 months ago. The fan stop working after 6 months, just like other customer who purchased this with the same problem. After talking with the representative and they send me a new fan to replace it. Installed the new fan, recheck the connection, and it still does not run. I believed this oven is defective. This oven is nice if it working properly.

In one year we had to make a claim under warranty. They would only send a new part and we had to pay to find someone to repair it. It broke again just after warranty expired and we were out of luck. I would not recommend this brand of ovens.

I just can’t get this to heat evenly or correctly. I use an oven thermometer and I have to bake cookies at 300 to get them to come out even remotely correct and at least 2 are to dark from hot spots, even if I rotate. I had high hope of making this work. Sadly, I should have saved the money.
Thank you for your review, Lisa! We are sorry this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W has not worked well for you. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!
Not bad considering the price, although its ready to be replaced after 13 months and I wont be getting another one. To be fair, it is used for toasting sandwiches all day in a busy deli. The fan is far slower than I was expecting and the door seal hasn't stayed in place since it arrived. While it is still working, the door springs are worn out and wont keep the door closed. For home use you should be happy but anything involving commercial food service, keep looking.

Good professional quality as expected. Always great service and products from these guys. I can always rely on the great shipping options and friendly customer service.
This oven is great. We bake all of our pastries at our coffee shop: scones, loaves, muffins, cookies, brownies, all kinds of baked goods. We also use it to cook off chicken and bacon for our salads. The items are best rotated, like most convection ovens, to prevent browner spots or lopsided muffins from the fan blowing, but with a turn or two mid bake the items come out lovely! I don’t always use a timer, but with the recipes I’ve used with times on them it is fairly accurate for completion on a cook/bake.
This is a high quality convection oven. It works really well. I am very happy with this purchase. The timer is very helpful addition to this oven.
Amazing little ovens that keep warm even with constant opening and closing. Size is perfect for our little kitchen, fits on top of counter or on shelves. Easy to use and fits more food inside than you would think.
Works great so far, I use this to cook baked Mac n cheese throughout the day. Cooks evenly and the timer is great when you are busy..no problems so far. Best part it’s 120 volt..
My first unit didn't work more than a couple of days but customer service helped get an exchange shipped out quickly and easily. The replacement has worked great so far (knock on wood!)
I have had two of these ovens, each worked great, for a short time... The first lasted aprox. 6 months, and the fan stopped working. They replaced it with a second one, and the same thing happened. We were told it is not meant for our capacity. The product description states " Its compact design makes it great for coffee shops, kiosks, snack bars, and restaurants." That's us! Looking for other options.
