This cleaner is safe on a variety of surfaces such as iron, steel, stainless steel, nickel, porcelain, and glass! Use it on a warm surface around 160 degrees Fahrenheit for best results.
Before using this cleaner, ensure the pilot light is turned off on the oven. To apply, spray the cleaner directly onto the surface of the oven, allowing it to set for 5 minutes if the oven is at an ambient temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit, or 15-20 minutes if the oven is cold. For heavy carbon buildup, scrub with an oven brush or sponge, then rinse the cleaner away with a wet sponge to remove grease and carbon residue. If there is excessive buildup, the cleaner can be applied twice.

Not sure where you all are coming from who gave this 5 stars, but I found this product to be completely ineffective. I tried it on the grates of a charbroiler that had thick carbon build up. First I scraped the excess carbon, then I sprayed the Advantage cleaner on the grates and let it sit for several hours, re-applying the chemical periodically. Then I brushed with a wire brush. Then, after all that I pressure washed. This product didn't even make a dent and I would have achieved the same results with just scraping. So what's the point of the chemical?
