Customer Q&A Ask a Question
For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.

People Talk About:stock pot spout steamed tamales faucet baskets buy drain fit
When I first bought this I HATED it. I was so angry at myself to buy a stock pot with a spout for TWICE the price of a the same stock pot, same maker with no spout. Plus everything keeps blocking the spout when you try to drain out the stock. I thought this would save the hours of nonstop china cap straining, then cheese cloth straining to get a good stock. After the first day I tossed the ladle in the pot and announced I Have Had Enough Of This. Quite frankly I never used it for making stock again. I went back to making stock in my 6 turkey roasters; All at once, one day and good to go for even the coldest winter's month. BUT. THERE WAS A CHANCE. I agreed to go to a tamale party for new year's eve. I brought this. After some massive amounts of dear gawd how are we going to make this work. (tamales are steamed and the pan is too big around) We finally rigged up a steam plate for the first batch then found pasta baskets that were small enough to fit 3....well two would have fit better but we got three pasta baskets in there. was EAZY to watch and reload the water for steaming as well as a drain. Since then I have used it to make the meat for tamales; draining off the juices to be used in masa and the sauce. I have also steamed cakes. as many as six in one batch. Made bagels. REAL bagels. steamed puddings in cheesecloth (still needs a bit of work to get it just right). not to mention the crab/lobster boils and the latest and greatest was steaming a tagine....but I would recommend it. All in all I will never give up my 6 giant turkey roasters to make stock (or my 4 smaller ones for cream soups) but I won't say no to this either. The spout didn't work well for me to drain my stock, so I would buy just the pot without the spout if needed. However, I have used this so often for other things I don't want ever give it up...now if they only made a steamer insert or a 3 part basket to fit inside to do tamales hey... I'm willing to buy.
