Mastrad A82301 Orka 11" Charcoal Silicone Oven Mitt with Cotton Lining

Bought these to replace a set of All Clad fiberglass mits that frayed around the thumb/pointer seam. Both my wife and I suffered burns so that was the nail in the coffin for traditional stitched mitts. These silicone mitts have been a perfect replacement. They're built well and have tolerated high heats with no issue. The cotton liners have a snap in and can be taken out to wash which is nice. Do take caution gripping greasy items as the silicone becomes very slippery. On that note, I highly suggest buying two. They're more expensive to a home cook, but don't compromise on safety.

Purchased for use in commercial fryer setting. Item holds up very well to use and handles high temps well with little thermal transfer. The grooves in the mitt itself do help with grip, which can be an issue with many silicone type products.

So far these gloves have worked very well. Stand up to high heat and allow our kitchen staff to quickly move hot pans. Definitely recommend this product

By far the BEST oven mitt I have ever used. I love the fact that the liner is removable and machine washable. Other oven mitts get hot if you hold the pan too long...NOT THIS ONE.

Love these oven mitts. Even bought another one in a different color to code for different positions. They should sell these in packs of 6!
