I really like how this particular pair of mitts looks like. Unlike some of the other silver mitts on this site, they have a nice black edge to them. However with this being said, they are only rated for up to 400 degrees. Knowing this, if you plan to use them in the oven a lot, I would maybe tell you to consider something else such as the San Jamar Bestan 15" mitts for only a little more as they are rated for an addition 50 degrees.
