These 8" skillets are the perfect size for a 3 egg omelette. They are the same quality as the standard 12", but the smaller size allows for better individual servings. The only complaint is the lack of a handle on both sides, but if you are careful they are still very easy to pick up.

The Lodge L8SK3 is a great bargain priced cast iron skillet from a great manufacturer. This pan has been the missing link in my kitchen that I had planned on buying but put off so many times. It finally filled that gap between the 9" and 12" Lodge pans I've owned for many years. Just like the others, its excellent quality given its price. In fact, this one seems a bit more polished and smoothed/grinded down than the previous ones I've bought making me think Lodge upped its quality just a bit the past few years.
