Durable Steel Door
For efficient operation, this outdoor ice merchandiser features a durable, galvanized top-coated steel door that provides maximum strength, yet still ensures easy loading and unloading of ice. The door opening comes with high impact vinyl breaker strips to provide greater impact resistance, as well as the strength needed to handle harsh conditions.
Conservative Insulation
Its 1/3 hp compressor uses R-404A refrigerant to keep the interior at consistent, cool temperatures, while the unit's cold wall feature offers excellent protection against ambient temperatures. The 3" thick floor and 2 1/2" thick ceiling/wall insulation helps conserve cold energy to keep operation costs low. Thanks to its electronic control system, you can easily monitor the unit and make changes whenever necessary.
Superior Design
The rugged, all steel cabinet combines with water-tight, lock-form seams for optimal strength. And, thanks to the open air channels, this merchandiser provides up to 70% greater air flow than comparative units. The two-part acrylic polyurethane coating offers mid-range gloss that resists corrosion, adhesion, and humidity.
Recessed Drain Plug
A recessed drain plug makes short work of draining and cleaning the interior.

In a cold wall refrigeration system, or coil cooled system, a series of copper wires runs through the walls of the merchandiser. These copper wires radiate cold air into the cabinet in order to keep the ice cold. This causes condensation to occur on the walls of cold wall merchandisers, meaning they will need to be defrosted and cleaned regularly.
In an auto defrost refrigeration system, or forced air system, cold air is pumped into the cabinet using fans, which keeps your ice cold. This type of refrigeration system cuts down on the amount of condensation that forms inside the merchandiser, and the condensation that does form in the unit is removed by an automatic condensation evaporator system.
