Save your money! This fryer is the 3rd one I have owned, each last a little shorter. This one I got on July 21 2021 and it stopped working Nov 1. The warranty coverage on this is terrible as they want two weeks to get it fixed. There is no one to talk to, the manufacture warranty company is rude. The extended warranty only works after the manufactures warranty expires.

This fryer is unfortunately not reliable it is expensive however. We started using it less than three months ago and it stopped lighting. Don't buy it.

We purchased for our food truck, once it heats up to desired temperature it will not maintain the temp., it will not cut back on. If anyone has any advice that would be great!

Not good. Worked good for a month. When finally able to get hold of someone the wouldn't do anything about it. Told me it was out of warranty and it's only a couple months old now. Company doesn't stand by there customers. I dont recommend anymore.

We liked the first one we purchased for our food truck that we had to get another. They work so well we may add another to our cafe when needed. If you have a food truck, make sure you get the cover and the propane option.

Replaced a similar unit on our food truck with this slightly updated unit. The original failed after 2 1/2 years of hard service and will be rebuilt as a spare. Things to note: several reviews stated that the units where inop out of the crate. These fryers are very sensitive to inlet pressure and this starts at the primary regulator not just the secondary that is supplied. Too high of a pressure to the secondary and fryer will cause most of the failures noted in reviews. It’s easy to overload this fryer and cause long recovery times be patient. Always use a quality oil and clean often. This little workhorse paid for itself and then some in just one night. Best of luck. Scooter Dog.

Quirky from the day we got it. Works for a while, then won't fire back up to temp, even though you can hear the thermostat click. Very inconsistent, and won't make it through a meal service without flaking out. Webstaurant and CPG both just passed the buck on who should handle it, and implied a service call was made (nobody ever contacted us back!). Considering it costs as much as a 30-40 lb floor unit, you would think this was a decent product, but based on other reviews I've since read (and our experience), it's just not. And with the support being non-existent (even while under warranty), I'm beyond displeased... This should have just been swapped out, but considering we didn't even get replies for a long time, I assume they know this is a bad product...

Does not work right out of the box, this is my second one and they tell me I have to pay to ship it back. Absolutely never again will I buy this brand or from webstaurant.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I bought this fryer to replace a more expensive brand I had that recently broke. Part of the reason was because it would ship so fast and I needed it to get back up and running. It worked for three days, and then the pilot kept turning off before it would reach full temperature and wouldn’t re ignite. We kept having to battle getting it to fire back on again in the middle of service. Every once in a while, it would stay on for a while, and then just suddenly turn off and no more gas at all, then, after sitting a while, it would work again fine. Terrible will not work right off the truck. Pilot light lights & goes off when you try to light the burners that do night light.

It would be the perfect fryer for my food truck but it has a hard time going from pilot to lit. Any help from the distributor would be great!

Absolutely love this fryer! Bought it back in May for my food truck when it was cheaper . Now its still worth it if you ask me. Heats and recovers quickly. Easy to clean and maintain. Would buy again.

This CPG Fryer is well built and very durable. I will definitely enjoy cooking all of my fried foods. The 2 fry baskets are big and very sturdy as well.

Do NOT buy this, and I would go sop far as to recommend against purchasing anything made by CPG. We had two of these from 2019 and they worked fine for a couple years, then one needed replacement. Bought a replacement (twice as expense now!) and the pilot died after 2 months. Replacement pilot for the same unit ALSO doesn't work. After trying to squeeze literally any other brand onto our truck, we broke down and bought 2 more of these. THEY ARE JUNK. Piezo igniter never worked on one, the other has a pilot that randomly blows out during service. Now one is dead and refuses to light at all, so either the thermostat or the gas valve is bad. Customer service from CPG is complete garbage. If anyone wants to buy a fryer that doesn't work, I have 3 in the basement. AVOID.

Wow! These guys beat my Pitcos ALL day. We use 2nof them in one of our food trucks and i jave to tell ya i want more! They recover fast and you can fit A LOT of products in the baskets

We have two of these. They've been in service less than a year and we've had continual issues with both with multiple repair bills and parts replacements that EXCEED what these actually cost. One still won't stay lit.. Have to replace rather than throw more money away trying to fix it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This its the second fryer I purchase different model but unfortunately both the same brand company, unfortunately ether been haven't issues dont working like I spectec and its been so difficult get a solution for, ether of the fryer , both where counter fryer, I should read all the red flags Review!!! This deep fryer is great for our small food truck! We're able to do about 6 fry orders at a time, heard up quick and maintains temperature

The fryer is easy to use, easy to Light up, gas efficient, and get to heat fast enough. definitely gets the job done. Nice size specially for food truck
