Cal-Mil Serving Boards

Cal-Mil Serving Boards

Hey guys, we're back with another episode of the Cal-Mil classroom. This week we're gonna show you some of our beautiful wooden serving boards and how to dress them up with delicious food. These boards are great for serving food such as selections of meat and cheese, steaks, burgers, and more. They're meant to upgrade your restaurant to have a more craft-like experience. You can even pair them with one of our tabletop accessories, like our french fry holders, to create an even more unique appearance. We have different types of wood finishes like maple, oak, and walnut in various shapes and sizes. Each board has a groove alongside the edge which prevents any liquids from spilling over the sides in case your burger's a little too juicy. As these boards are meant to have direct contact with food, they will need to be sanitized after each use. We don't recommend running them through the dishwasher; you can hand wash with soap and water. Well that's all the time I have for you this week. Be sure to check out our serving boards and our tabletop accessories at www.calmil.com. See you next time. Hey guys, if you haven't done so already please make sure to head over to our YouTube page at www.youtube.com/calmilproducts. Cal-Mil Serving Solutions

Cal-Mil Serving Solutions

Hi, and welcome to the Cal-Mil classroom. Today we’ve got the products to help you stay up-to-date with the hottest food trends of 2015. First, we have our brand new charcuterie and cheese boards, which range in multiple sizes, shapes, and materials, including oak, walnut, maple, and bamboo. These boards are a great way to serve decadent cheeses paired with cured meats, which you’ll see trending in just about anywhere that serves food. We recommend coating these boards once a month with mineral oil and hand washing them with a mild detergent. Serving on slate has also been extremely popular, and is a great way to create a captivating presentation to allow your customers to not only eat their food, but also experience it. Lastly, our breadboards are perfect for serving flatbread pizzas, fresh bread, plated meals, and more. They are composed of recycled paper, treated with resin, and baked to create a solid sheet. With the end result being exceptionally strong and heat resistant up to 350 degrees. And, they are dishwasher safe. These breadboards are also easily made in custom sizes, shapes, thicknesses, and cutouts. To see our entire selection for serving pieces, visit us online at Cal-Mil.com, where you can request a catalog today. That’s all I’ve got for you, I’ll see you next time.

Customer questions about this product

What is the best way to clean and care for my wooden item?
All wood products should be hand washed. The heat and chemicals of a dishwasher are harmful to wood’s naturally porous texture. If your product begins to show signs of wear, its finish can be restored with a food safe wood conditioner. First, clean and dry the wood. Then, apply the wood conditioner with a soft cloth or paper towel. Once the conditioner has soaked into the item, buff off any excess with a clean cloth. Having excess conditioner on a wood board will make it feel sticky or oily.
