What is the best way to clean and care for my wooden item?
All wood products should be hand washed. The heat and chemicals of a dishwasher are harmful to wood’s naturally porous texture. If your product begins to show signs of wear, its finish can be restored with a food-safe wood conditioner. First, clean and dry the wood. Then, apply the wood conditioner with a soft cloth or paper towel. Once the conditioner has soaked into the item, buff off any excess with a clean cloth. Having excess conditioner on a wood board will make it feel sticky or oily.

Really wonderful and sturdy board! I've used for charcuterie boards and presentation, but as a chopping block. they are quite heavy and thick. The color of the board really pops better with a light oil after washing and before using.

This is a great value! It's solid but not as heavy as maple or oak boards since it's bamboo. It makes for versatile presentation since it is a kind of traditional cutting board but with a modern grain.

The American Metalcraft Bamboo Round Butcher Block Serving Board is fully functional. On ours, there were a bunch of splinters around the side. Additionally, it appears lighter and duller in person, compared to the online images.

Wow! This is a beautiful bamboo butcher block. This is mainly used for serving, meats and cheeses. They look so well present on such a nice serving board.

1.5 inches may not sound like much, but this butcher block is thick and heavy. We use this as a serving tray at large tables, and even with customers cutting on it, it has held up remarkably well. It also cleans up extremely well. The finish is lovely, and there is no issue with it looking cheap. The glue is solid even through numerous commercial washings, and not once have we had any of these blocks fail. I highly recommend these blocks, especially given the price here.

Took a chance with this bamboo butcher block, our plastic one vanished in this air, was not sure this would hold up because of the price, but we beat it up daily and it should last for years.

I love this board! It is clearly well made and is heavy. There was a spot on the side that was a little rough, but it flaked off with no noticble damage to the board. It is perfect for presenting meats and cheeses at parties.
