Vollrath 30242 Super Pan V® 1/2 Size 4" Deep Anti-Jam Stainless Steel Steam Table / Hotel Pan - 22 Gauge

This perforated half pan is great for draining blanched veggies, pasta, even lettuces that you washed and need to drain. It is part of the super pan family so it is well made.

We bought both varieties of hotel pans for our steam table, and this one is about triple the price of what we paid for the cheaper kind. I have to say that it was worth the extra money for sure. The corners and edges have held up well, while the cheaper ones have curled corners and edges that no longer hold steam underneath as a result. Spend the extra dough. It's worth it!

I started shopping here because I was trying to find a great selection of the Vollrath Stainless hotel pans. They are the best on the market and the only ones I buy. The sturdy, shiny stainless, design is easy to clean, and last but not least Made In the USA! Most of our pans spend hours in the smoker but I like to keep them looking new and they are. While the smoke has to be scrubbed off by hand, they come clean with very little effort and stay shiny and they do not have a scratched-up look. Never warp. I use the racks and covers. There is not one point I could suggest for improvement. I really like that my purchase helps give another USA worker a job.

Amazing hotel pans!! I’ve been using these for years for everything from large scale prep to basic transport of our holiday meals to the in laws. Easy to clean, good quality as always from Vollrath, and whatever anti jam mechanism it has is wonderful as I can stack for storage and not spend time trying to separate the pans as I have had to do with other hotel pans in the past. Definitely a recommend!

Vollrath makes excellent quality products and this perf pan is no exception. It is truly anti-jam and great for steaming small quantities of starches or vegetables.

This pan is so versatile. I really wanted a pan that could go from freezer, to oven, to fridge. This pan is so solid and perfect for many applications. I frequently bake chicken and this pan is great for that.

Vollrath superpan are built strong and durable. It has handle over ten years of restaurant use. It’s primarily use for hot holding food display case. We use it to cook and then display food. Highly recommended!

These pans are awesome! They are well worth the extra money. More than double as thick as the cheap pans, and the edges seem very strong. I will update review if we have any problems with them. The cheap pans lasted us 2-3 years, so hopefully these last much longer!

Vollrath are great pans for kitchen use. There are very durable and sturdy. These are excellent for prep, storage, line and banquet service. Easy to handle, clean and store when not in use. I highly recommend.

As of my review this is the most advanced hotel pan Vollrath makes- the most durable corners. For the home chef, it's overkill. Looks nice, pleasant satin texture, and the stainless is resistant to corrosive stuff without having the endocrine disrupting chemicals of plastic. I've used it to brine meat and it worked a treat.

Vollrath Super Pan Vs are made of excellent quality stainless steel which is sturdy and stiff, however they came a bit jammed together in the box. We use these for freezer and refrigerator storage of sliced steaks, definitely worth the extra cost compared to other pans.

i tried making rice in this pan and it holds 10 cups of uncooked rice! sometimes when catering a larger party, I use this as well in a steam table to keep food warm. having different sized gives you versatility

love using these for side items in our chafers. They are easy to clean and keep our food hot. I'll be purchasing more for vollrath hotels pans in a deeper size

These are good the hold a-lot of cheese for our Pizza that way they can be prepped and ready for the busy day. these have many uses though.

I ordered two of these pans to see how they would work for a specific application I had in mind. I wasn’t completely satisfied with them, because I needed flat bottoms for best results, and these are slightly bowed up in the middle. But they’re sturdy, well made and stack properly without jamming, so I decided to order four more pans. Unfortunately, the pans I just received seem to be defective, because they are NOT anti-jam. Straight out of the box, they were wedged together so tightly, it took me nearly an hour to separate them. I removed the plastic bag between the pans, assuming that was the culprit, only to discover they still won’t stack properly. The pans are way too snug to sit on the lugs. I’m surprised by the poor quality control from Vollrath.

The Super Pan V Vollrath is worth the extra money compared to the cheaper higher gauge stainless! They stack nice without sticking to each other and are very durable.

Great steam pan. I use these for grilled hot dogs, steaming buns and holding soft pretzels hot. Fits perfect with my other pans. Great price.

Vollrath is the way to go when purchasing a half hotel pan. They are definitely worth the extra few dollars for the quality of the item. They are tough and durable. I will never buy another brand.

These hotel pans are extremely durable! We use them daily and run them through the dishwasher hundreds of times a month. I have never seen a single spot of corrosion...only light scratches and minor dents. I definitely recommend them!
