Use it for freezer to oven applications, thaw foods in the refrigerator beneath it, store foods until ready to use - the possibilities are endless with this food pan lid.

This lid is great for use when transporting foods, with a patented "Lip-Lock" design that locks contents in for mess-free delivery. It securely seals to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination both in the kitchen and on the road, and, with a write-on surface, it's easy to keep imperative information right on the lid.     The Half Size Hi-Heat Silicone Flexsil Food Pan Cover is well made and durable. It fits well on half size food pans and is easy to clean. It is great for buffets and catering events.

    I'm probably not using this for what it is intended for but this Hi-Heat Silicon Flexil work great for keeping the moisture in for my sous vide cooking. It is also easy to cut so that my sous vide system fits perfectly. I use it for my high temperature sous vide cooking so that the evaporation of water is kept to a minimal. I have to say this really works great and highly recommended for my sous vide cooking.

    A bit pricey, but this silicone food pan cover works well to make an airtight seal on hotel/steam pans for freezer storage of sliced steaks. It is fairly flexible, so I'm hesitant to stack anything on top of it.
