These pans keep liquids hot such as our house made cheese dip but not necessarily solids such as our black beans and rice. Very uneven heating bottom gets hot but not the top of the dish even though there is steam and water in the pan. Fits like a glove over the 1/2 200 pan but might not order these again if given a different option.
They make a great uniformed look since we use a couple of them side by side. They are extremely easy to wipe off clean but do scratch however. Easy to take off with the easy grip lid.
The recess is perfect in this pan. Allows many pans of the same size to be stacked on top without any deforming. Vollrath stands behind their products. The finish on these is perfect.
when cost isn't a huge factor, vollrath pieces are always great quality. this lid fits any 1/2 hotel pan perfectly and has a nice shine to it if needed for food service with guests.
Great 1/2 size lid. Love that it for a food product or storage that you do not need a spoon or utensil for. Keeps food hot without venting steam.
A nice lid with an easy to grab handle. The upside is that they make hotel pans stackable when they are lidded. The bad news is that because the top handle is flush, that means there is a significant bump out on the under size. This means you can't fill your hotel pan all the way to the brim and still fit this lid on top of it.

This lid fits great on the half size pan, and is pretty durable as I have dropped it once or twice with no bent corners. Love low prices and great value!
great fit durable and well craft light weight too, heavy enough to stay in place but light enough to not give you a work out thru out the day
