When an automatic or manual-free cycle using the heated food probe or probes is complete, press the start / stop button, then press down to access the heated probe cycle. Press enter to select the cycle. If heated probe was set to no in initial programming, the display will show heated probe not available. In order to run this cycle, refer to the initial programming chapter in this series to make the necessary changes. If heated probe was set to yes in initial programming, press start / stop to start the cycle. If the food probe temperature is greater than 30 degrees Fahrenheit, the display will show not needed. After a few seconds, the display will show the heated probe screen. If the food probe temperature is less than 30 degrees Fahrenheit, the display will show open door. After a few seconds, the display will show heating. When the display shows complete, remove the food probe. The default parameters for the food probe are preset at the factory. To adjust these settings for an individual cycle, you may access cycle's programming by pressing the start / stop button for a few seconds until a beep sounds. Press up or down to select English, Spanish, or French, then press enter. Enter the password and press enter. The default password is select, up, down. If you do not wish to change the password, press enter. The letters PR, which signify programming mode, will appear in the upper left hand corner of the display. Press up or down to select cycle's programming, then press enter. The letters CP, which signify cycle's programming, will appear in the upper right hand corner of the display. Press up or down to select heated probe, then press enter. If no was selected for heated probe in initial programming, the display will show heated probe not available. The default setting for the heating temperature is 30 degrees Fahrenheit. To increase this temperature, press up, or to decrease, press down, then press enter. The default setting for the heating time is 5 seconds. To change the time, press up or down, then press enter. The display will then show the heated probe screen. To move to another cycle to programming, press up or down, or to end programming, press the on / off button.
