Mercer Culinary M33183 Hell's Handle® High Heat 6" x 3" Fish / Egg Turner / Spatula

This is a good and sturdy fish spat. I've had my personal "Hell's Handle" spat for almost 6 years now, and it hasn't bent or melted yet. This one will likely last me just as long.

An omelette makers dream! I know technically this is a fish spatula, but the truth is I got it for making omelets. The front edge is so thin it is almost sharp. Perfect for getting right under the edge of an omelet. Don't loan this to a neighbor. You will never get it back.

Bought this for hash browns, pancakes, omlettes, and various other egg dishes. The Hell's Handle pieces are REALLY extremely well-made. The steel is extremely sturdy and high quality. The handles are made of this magical plastic that doesn't have a meltdown every time it looks at the stove! Also works to whisk everything up for batter or eggs, which is a miracle tool! It's not flexible though, so don't think it will bend like a wire whisk. This is certainly useful in its own right. We are being converted to Mercer. Used to have all Cutco and Dexter but Mercer is a dang fine quality knife! This is one of 3 products we now have from Mercer.

A good strong fish spatula. When I've used it for some delicate tasks (turning pancakes on a griddle for example) where I don't want to scratch the surface it doesn't always get under the food as well as I would like. Overall though for what it's intended (scraping and flipping on surfaces you're not concerned with scratching) it works great. My older and cheaper fish spatula has a tendency to not spring back when I bend it too much but this one must be made of a great steel because it doesn't have that problem.

love it. It is as described, but looks smaller. Just a comment, not complaint especially since I have no problem flipping a 1 pound slab of fish. Intent was solely for fish use, but it will be a useful spatula for many applications.

Purchased this spatula mainly for fish but also use it for eggs and hashbrowns. It is well constructed, and the handle is comfortable and easy to grip. The spatula has held up to a lot of use and is easy to clean.

Spatula is well made. Worth the extra money. Handle is a good size too easily hold and maneuver. Spatula is flexible enough to get under fish or eggs.

A couple months ago I purchased the Edlund 16" HD Locking Tongs, the Mercer 5"x4" HD Turner, Mercer 9"x4" fish/egg turner, and the Oxo 2" basting brush for my home outdoor grilling. With these tools I think I am pretty much set for anything for years to come. They are large and high quality. I use their smaller counterparts indoors on my stove.

Great spatula. The handle is hefty and comfortable and the spatula itself is sturdy but still gentle enough for eggs or delicate fish. Will be ordering the larger one as well.

Just flexible enough. The handle stays cool while in use and there's a decent amount of give to the spatula to aid in turning/flipping but not too much to be unreliable when transferring.

Absolutely recommend this product. I have ordered many of them and they are perfect for any type off fish, especially salmon in my case because we do cook a lot of salmon. I would also highly recommend this product for flipping pancakes on a flat grill. Very easy to use and very easy to wash as well as wooden part helps very much so we never really gets hot so you can use it anytime.

Mercer is the only brand of spatulas that I buy. They are made with high quality metal which last for a long time. They wash up well as well.

Really great turner that will help turning fish with very delicate skin. I never thought I could get such perfect skin on proteins without a nonstick pan. A must for cast iron and carbon steel users.

This is my go to spatula now! It makes flipping pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches a breeze! The thin edge doesn't drag the food and slides under easily...

The handle is thick but comfortable. And even though sturdy, the blade has enough flexibility. Its just wide enough. I don’t only use it for fish.

This is a big spatula. Its perfect for omelets, pancakes, and other large items we cook on the griddle. Dont use these for single eggs tho, The gaps in the head of the spatula are too big to effectively turn a single egg. The spatula itself is super light weight as well but very sturdy

This is your industry-standard fish spatula. It's strong, flexible, BUT it's right handed. It's not un-usable for a lefty, but the angle of the edge certainly makes it more comfortable for a righty. I would recommend this spatula.
