The 4 1/4" to 4 3/8" column diameter is more of an aesthetic choice that still has a similar load rating compared to slightly larger variations; therefore, you can choose from a wide selection of tabletops, which includes some of those heavier options. Within the base column lies a threaded interior column that easily fastens to the spider plate - a pre-drilled, cast-iron plate intended to secure the column to the tabletop. Conveniently, all hardware is included, so there are no additional purchases of screws or small parts for installation.

This kit includes an equalizer to keep tables steady. The Equalizer adjusts up to 1/4" in height and locks in place to stabilize each table, ensuring an ideal, professional dining experience in your establishment. It can also be used to align tables together. Simply tilt or lift a table top in the direction of an adjoining top. The feet will adjust to create a perfectly aligned surface, making it great for large parties that require multiple tables to be pushed together.

The Equalizer is made of reinforced plastic that houses a 1/4"-20 stainless steel thread, allowing it to be installed onto most table bases with existing screw-in feet. The thread compresses into the foot and automatically activates the hydraulic stabilization technology within.
