Was excited to receive these as the company has a great standing. However, they do not melt well and the box description (when received) shows "white coated chips." I feel these aren't the best for high quality baked goods. Unfortunately, I ordered a large amount and not sure what to do with them. Try ordering a smaller amount to see if it works for you.

At first, I was excited as Guittard is such a good brand and the description makes them sound amazing. However, they melt horribly and it detracts from the appeal of my baked goods. :( Not sure if I can use the 25# that I bought. Big bummer.

Much better than other brands of white chocolate in terms of flavor. It is not overpowering; however, I don't think these are the ideal white chocolate chips either. There is a bit of a chalkiness to them even after baking. I wish the cocoa butter was more pronounced. BUT compared to other chips on this site, I think this is the most versatile,
