Easy-to-Use Control Panel

This spiral dough mixer has an intuitive control panel that includes a timer, which will keep careful track of how long the mixer churns and prevent the dough from becoming overworked.

Auto-Stop Failsafe

As a built-in precaution, the mixer has an auto-stop failsafe that will turn off the unit once the timer hits zero, which is helpful for when employees are preoccupied with other tasks throughout the kitchen.

Grated Lid for Safety

The Estella SM50 75 lb. mixer also features a steel grated lid that allows for ingredients such as flour to be added to the dough as it is mixing without having to shut it off. The grate also keeps employees from sticking their hands in the bowl when the mixer is on, improving safety.

A Durable Addition

This unit's 2-speed, belt-driven motor, which has a power output of 3000W, will handle a strenuous workload while yielding impressive results. The hooks and bowls can operate on 2 different speeds - the hooks run at low (112 rpm) and high (198 rpm), while the bowl operates on low (15 rpm) and high (20 rpm). A sturdy base will keep the mixer in place while handling the rigors of commercial establishments. This unit requires a 220V electrical connection for operation.

mixer before bowl bowls deal larger machine quality speed spiral

We just got this mixer so I can't say how it will hold up or the durability. It does seem well built and good quality. But I wanted to mention that the bowl does not come out of the mixer. You have to wipe it out to wash it. There is no way to get it out of the machine. That is a huge deal for us and one I realized we knew before we purchased it. So just wanted everyone looking at this mixer to know that before purchasing. We have pretty wet batters so for us it's a bigger deal that it would be for someone that has drier products.

I had previously used the Eurodib 20QT single speed mixer (also purchased from webstaurant). I needed to upgrade to a larger 2 speed option, and this Estella was economical and checked all the boxes. It performs perfectly so far and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the machine and how it handles my sourdough.

I bought this spiral mixer. Most spiral mixer bowls are attached unless they are really large. Given the cost of this mixer its a no brainer. Most of these mixer are over 4k. Typically it takes about 5 minutes to clean. Seriously if you took the bowl off you would probably drop it and then it might not work
