Both hearty and nutritional, this bulk supply of dried habas / fava beans will allow you to create satisfying, signature meals that your customers are sure to love! Not only are these legumes perfect for enhancing buffets and restaurant menus, they're easy to prepare and add to any dish. After rinsing and boiling them, the cooked beans have a light, buttery flavor that makes them great for use in soups and salads. Common in Latin American cuisines, habas / fava beans can be stir-fried with garlic, mashed together for dips, or simply roasted and salted for snacks.
Rich in dietary fiber, protein, and essential B vitamins, these habas / fava beans are a great, low-calorie, low-fat option for health-conscious consumers. Like all dried beans, these habas / fava beans require a soaking process before cooking and serving. They may take longer to cook than canned beans, but dried beans have many advantages. Though canned beans may seem either too firm or too mushy, your staff can control the firmness of the beans as they cook them. Use this bulk supply of habas / fava beans to expand your menu selection and create healthier dish options!

Fava beans are tasty on their own and especially when seasoned with garlic. I enjoy mixing them with chick peas for a better tasting falafel mix.
