Enjoy the added nutritional benefits of cooking with dried beans and stock your restaurant or buffet with this 20 lb. bulk supply of dried black beans! Black beans have a hearty consistency with refreshingly mild taste that makes a great accompaniment to many meals, including a variety of hot or cold dishes. They're great for black bean soups, salsas, and taco salads. Their dense, meaty texture is perfect for adding to chili, rice, vegetarian dishes, and many Latin American and Cajun dishes.
Because of their long shelf life, dried black beans are easy to store and portion. Like all dried beans, these black beans require a soaking process before cooking and serving. They may take longer to cook than canned beans, but dried beans have many advantages. Though canned beans require preservatives to lengthen their shelf life, dried beans are more natural and have a much lower amount of sodium than most canned beans. Though canned beans may seem either too firm or too mushy, your staff can control the firmness of the beans as they cook them in their own kitchen. Cost-effective and rich in protein and fiber, these dried black beans make a smart addition to any commercial kitchen!

I love black beans so much. They have such a great flavor and compliment avocado and tomato especially well. I always have to have some on hand.

I use black beans a lot. I cook them in my electric pressure cooker (instant pot) and then freeze them. It is economical as well as better for you than canned products. These are very good and lower in price than any I have found.

I bought these for personal use. I use them for blackbean burgers, mexican cuisine, and soup. The quality is just as good as what I can buy locally, but the price makes it worth ordering here.

These dried black beans are really good cooked in Mexican and Tex Mex dishes. These are also good for making tasty vegetarian black bean burgers.

Dried Black Beans - 20 lb. We use black beans in many of our recipes but it's a bit too much lol so I bagged them by 1lb bags a lot of work

This black beans come at an unbeatable price. The quality is great too as the beans arrived very clean inside a box. Will buy again.

The Black Beans were good quality. Only draw back was that they were not as clean as I have gotten from other sources. Granted the pricing was a little better. We make in a large roaster 20 quart size. For a batch that size we pulled out about a handful of Pinto Beans and stones.

The quality is very good! I will try to post a picture when I purchase next time. I used to go to the local store to get the 2lbs package all the time. I'm so happy to have to place to get better quality ones.

This is a great deal for bulk beans. Same quality as the national brands and commercial packages. They all come from the same farm and are packaged differently. The taste is the same as the popular brands and the Webstaurant store provides a great value.

I am very happy to have discovered how to buy bulk dry beans from Webstaurant store. I live in a Boston apartment and don't keep a car, so grocery shopping always involves maneuvering rolling carts and hauling bags on buses and subway or spring for an Uber ride. For that reason, I tend to buy whatever nonperishables I can online and have them shipped. When I stumbled across Webstaurant's 20 lb boxes of dried beans at such a low price I was amazed. It sounded too good to be true, but I finally decided to risk it and am so glad I did! They're great high-quality beans and taste just those in the grocery store. Even though they're sold in bulk, the package was not filled with pebbles or dirt or plant materials or bugs. They absolutely perfect. I will warn you that 20 lbs of beans really does weigh 20 lbs - it's a heavy package and since I ordered pinto beans at the same time, the two boxes were taped together for a total of 40 lbs in one package! It can be a bit unwieldy wrestling it into the kitchen. It was no big deal for me, for I then filled individual glass storage jars with a "working quantity" of each of the beans and then put the rest away into cool, dark pantry storage. Not only do they look lovely alongside jars of rice, quinoa, pasta, seeds, oatmeal, and other dry goods, it gives me a sense of security knowing that I have plenty of healthy food available for my family in case of emergency (since the Marathon Bombing, we feel a bit more insecure than we did before, but being Boston Strong we also have every intention of being prepared and not being scared away from living in the city proper. I think it also ties back to the times I spent on my Grandparents' Alabama farm as a child. The shelves in the "cool house" were always loaded with the home-canned, dried, hung, & smoked products of summer's garden and orchard. My grandparents had survived the Great Depression with hard work and self-sufficiency and trips to the grocery store for "store-bought food" were rare. That same mentality is bred into my bones, so I'm always happy to find ways to achieve a modern take on self-sufficiency and always keeping plenty to feed my family through whatever vagaries of fate. If you had family farm grandparents, are into whole foods, and love knowing you have the ability to cook whatever you wish on the spur of the moment, then you'll understand what I mean. I feel very content seeing my pantry filled with colorful jars of beans and they inspire me to make all sorts of yummy home cooking. My family's favorite bean recipes include beans & cornbread, Cajun rice & beans,Tex-Mex bean burritos, Hoppin' John, and cold mixed-bean salad. Seeing the abundance in those jars also inspires me to search the internet for new recipes from around the world. Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase: economically, aesthetically, emotionally, creatively, and culinarially!

Lightning speed delivery, I received items only two days after I was charged. Items were exactly as described. I was concerned about the cost of shipping, but when figuring the beans I purchased and shipping they came to less per pound. To be able to purchase these types of beans in bulk and have home delivery it was very much worth it. Will be shopping with you again. Thanks!

I love using black beans to make my delicious black bean salsa. It's so simple, the only bad part is having to boil the beans for awhile.
